She was incredibly reliable, completing every single scheduled drop-in (3 times per day) without missing a beat. What truly sets her apart is how much quality time she spends with the dogs—not just letting them out quickly, but actually sitting with them, playing, and giving them space to run and explore in our large yard. Our doorbell would notify us when she showed up at the house and she was always out in the yard with the dogs while they explored. She followed all care instructions, including administering their daily joint supplements, and kept me constantly updated with detailed reports and at least 10 photos per visit—which meant I was getting about 30 pictures a day of my dogs being happy, active, and well cared for. That level of visibility gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly proactive: when one of my dogs ran off to a less visible part of the yard, she immediately notified me and took steps to make sure he was safe (he was probably sniffing groundhog holes and choosing not to listen because he loves the yard). I also appreciated her sharing a funny moment when my dogs calmly sniffed a wild bunny—they weren’t aggressive, just curious, and it was comforting to know she filled me in on notable happenings while I was away. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Expect lots of love, playtime, and PLENTY of photo updates. I have a slight obsession with taking pictures of animals so If you want one picture, I can do that. If you want one million… I can definitely do that too! 📸🐾

About: Hello! I'm Wendi. I'm a medical lab tech and retired firefighter/EMT. I am also a Pet CPR/First Aid Instructor. Prior to my careers, I worked at a private boarding kennel for 2.5 years. I have had multiple dog and cat companions over the years. I have a background in biology and medicine. Experience with large, small, young, and old. Multiple pet house holds are welcome. Experience providing medication including insulin injections. Special Needs pets are my specialty. I love spending time with dogs. It keeps me sane. Plus I always have healthy treats! I'm a weightlifter and Strongwoman competitor so large, strong dogs are not an issue. I work full time in a hospital on a rotating schedule (afternoons and midnights). We'll always be leashed up on walks. If you have a fenced in yard I will keep a watchful eye over your companion.
