Our 20-year-old was put on insulin about 10 days before we were due to leave and our regular cat sitters backed out because they were uncomfortable with giving shots. Dana was highly experienced with injections, understood each of our cats' peculiarities and also offered to continue feeding the ferals that we've been doing trap-fix-release with. “We had a fantastic experience with Sara (AKA Rosie) while we were away for five days in South Carolina. She was incredibly reliable, completing every single scheduled drop-in (3 times per day) without missing a beat. What truly sets her apart is how much quality time she spends with the dogs—not just letting them out quickly, but actually sitting with them, playing, and giving them space to run and explore in our large yard. Our doorbell would notify us when she showed up at the house and she was always out in the yard with the dogs while they explored. She followed all care instructions, including administering their daily joint supplements, and kept me constantly updated with detailed reports and at least 10 photos per visit—which meant I was getting about 30 pictures a day of my dogs being happy, active, and well cared for. That level of visibility gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly proactive: when one of my dogs ran off to a less visible part of the yard, she immediately notified me and took steps to make sure he was safe (he was probably sniffing groundhog holes and choosing not to listen because he loves the yard). I also appreciated her sharing a funny moment when my dogs calmly sniffed a wild bunny—they weren’t aggressive, just curious, and it was comforting to know she filled me in on notable happenings while I was away. About: I helped my mom raise and train two Norwegian Elkhound puppies who are four years old now. They are my world and I visit them as much as I can. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and a tortoise for a few years until he got too big (lol). I absolutely love all animals and I am a wildlife major at West Virginia University, where I have learned the responsibilities of proper care of all animals including pets! I love taking my dog Stella for walks and would love to be active with any pets whether that’s a walk, playing outside/inside, or just keeping them company! I have dog sat since I was 13 for almost all my family members and respect the space and comfort of all pets! I’m currently unemployed for the summer because of online classes, but my days are extremely free even with 30 minutes - an hour of my time taken for the class. The class is also only once a week on any day, so it’s very flexible with managing pet care and getting class work done! I have one, very friendly dog, Stella, who is 8 years old but she enjoys puppies, younger dogs, and older dogs! I will separate them for eating/treat purposes as I wouldn’t want either pet to get defensive over their food if I am pet sitting at my house. I have pet sat at friends and family’s homes and follow directions clearly, but if I am uncertain of any instruction, I will always double check with the owner before continuing my pet care.

About: At this time, I am not house sitting. I like dog walking or drop ins. Thank you! I have always enjoyed dogs; playing and walking them especially in my neighborhood or at the park. When I was nine years old our first dog was Comet, a happy yellow lab and a bit of a barker. Then our family adopted a good little guy named Seamus. He was a mixed black lab puppy and he was very territorial which took some training and love to help him be less aggressive. I am not going to brag, but I know that I was Seamus' favorite because he never growled at me. We loved taking walks and rides. Unfortunatley, Seamus passed away from cancer in 2012. Next my parents found Noah from a beagle rescue. He is 100% beagle and 100% mischievious. He is a great guy, but he steals slippers even at the ripe old age of 10. He likes car rides. My husband and I adopted Mikey, a beagle mix and he is my buddy. He goes everywhere with us. He has been to Ohiopyle, playgrounds, family member's houses, and a Target Drive Up run. He is like my kid. I am definately his favorite! I have time in the evenings and on the weekends. I can be available with advanced notice in the daytime. Let me know how I can help. I give them love like you would, and I pet them. Even a massage can help their joints as older dogs have pain sometimes. I treat dogs like they are my family.
About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors cats and dogs for about 10 years now. I also have dogs and cats of my own and have been a pet owner of dogs and cats since 2006. I currently work remote and have a flexible schedule. I can schedule drop in visits or walks throughout the day multiple times per week. I am flexible and can work with your schedule. I prefer to communicate or have a list provided by the pet owner to ensure I am not disrupting the cat or dogs schedule.
