About: Hi! My name is Katie and I am a recent Pitt alum with a passion for pets! I’ve been taking care of dogs of my own for about 15 years now and love every minute! I’ve also pet sat for family and friends on and off for the past 4 years. To me, pets are apart of our families and deserve the best care possible. I’m here to help care for all of your furry friends like they’re my own: with passion, kindness, and a little fun too :) I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, administering medication, and overall dog care! I currently work a full-time, Monday-Friday job. I am available during the week after 6pm for drop by visits and walks. I usually have open availability on the weekends, but please check my availability for updated times and dates! I have three dogs at home, two senior dogs and a younger pup. They all get along with other dogs well, but their will be some initial barking and sniffing when introduced to knew furry friends. I am about 10 minutes away from South Park, which also has a dog park.
About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!
About: I cared for my family dog for years, and other dogs in my home neighborhood until I moved out. I get so much joy from being around animals. I have never come across a stray cat that didn't want to be my friend. I don't currently live with any pets which is why I am eager to petsit so I can spend time with some wonderful dogs and cats. I have a lot of free time during the week for extended stays or multiple drop-ins in a day. I love animals and I will give your pet all of my attention, and be sure they are loved and cared for. Josie did a great job taking care of my dog Moose! My dog is very hesitant around strangers and was hiding from Josie when she first stopped in for her visit. I really appreciated that Josie communicated this to us as it was happening so we could offer suggestions on how to gain Moose’s trust. Josie was so patient with Moose and was eventually able to take him outside to go potty. I highly recommend Josie to other pet parents too!
