Pet care experience
I have been around dogs ever since I was little. Growing up I was in charge of feeding and bathing them weekly. This past year, my 10 year old dog, Bonsai got cancer. She unfortunately passed away, but the experience taught me how to care of a senior dog with difficult medical needs. I also have a cat named Thistle. I’ve taken care of her since she’s been 6 months old. She is very active and requires a lot of daily stimulation through play and walks. I’m a very responsible pet mom, and I would love to help out taking care of other fur babies. I am also very patient with pets that might be more timid and nervous to meet new people.

Gala is great caregiver for animals, she is thoughtful and respectful of not just the person but the pet. She has gone above and beyond when caring for my cat, and has even been able to house her when needed. She is very mindful of everything my cat needs and sends me photo updates while I am not able to see her. I would always recommend Gala, as she puts pets first.
From the time that Gala was a baby, she was always surrounded by pets. In our family, our kids have always been around dogs and cats. When Gala was a baby, we had Gaspar, a Cocker Spaniel that lived to be 16 years old. During Gaspar's older years, we got Bonsai, a French Bulldog that became Gala's shadow. We had Bonsai since she was a young puppy, and Gala was her main caretaker, feeding her, cleaning after her,and even sleeping with her. When Gala went off to collge, she adopted Thistle, a wonderful cat that she's even trained to do some tricks and to go for walks with her. Seeing how happy Thistle is, it´s obvious that Gala has done a wonderful job with her, as she's always done with the doggie pets in her life. Gala is that type of person that pets, even difficult ones, will immediately trust and want to be with. Moreover, she is seriously talented at training both dogs and her cat, as I mentioned. She has the patience but also the authority necessary to have pets respond to her in a positive manner. She would make an ideal dog walker and a carer for any type of pet.
