About: Hi there! I work from home my two available days a week, which means your dog gets 24/7 companionship, frequent backyard potty breaks, and mid-day snuggles on the couch. I grew up with dogs, and I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors. I am experienced with medication administration, limited mobility, and managing separation anxiety. I also have experience with reactive and dog-selective dogs and keeping them safe and happy. I live right by Bird Park and in a very walkable neighborhood, and can accommodate 2-3 walks a day - but if your dog is happier cuddling/sleeping inside, that’s okay too! I’d like to match your dogs normal routine as much as possible and make sure they get as much play and rest time as they need. Your dog will be safe and happy with me! I currently work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday) so I will be available 24/7 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I request that you give me your dogs normal schedule, and I will follow it exactly to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I am available after 3pm Tuesdays through Thursdays. Your dog will be the only pet in my home, and my top priority! I require a meet and greet before boarding to ensure we are the right fit. I will keep you updated with daily pics of your pup. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My home is clean and free from any hazards to your pup, and I will follow your exact household rules regarding feeding and anything else. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I put my dog through training classes when he was a puppy which has helped me learn and understand how dogs think and act. Learning so much information about dogs mannerisms has just made my love for them stronger. No breed restrictions! I have a strong hold on leashes for pullers! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be My dog doesn’t always get along with other dogs, so I will not be able to board anyone’s dogs at my residence but will be available to stop over and let your dogs out, play with them, walk them- whatever you need!

I am also usually available most holidays to watch your furry family members. I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

About: Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a recent college grad who has been in Pittsburgh about 2 years. I have over 70 5-star ratings on Wag, which is a similar app to Rover. Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I miss my sweet pups, which is why I love to use Wag and Rover :) I absolutely adore any dog I come across and would love to get to know you and your doggo! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!

About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.
