About: I got my first dog at 10 years old and have loved them ever since. I love to help get them outside and keep them company. I work remotely and have flexibility to pop in for visits and walks during the days and evening. We also recently lost 1 of our 2 dogs and would love to find more dog friends in the area. We have one senior mutt who spends the day with me and my toddler at home. He is a rescue who can be timid and appreciates his space at times. We love to take him for long walks and make sure he is comfortable with his people and surroundings.

As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. About: I have used Rover for years and couldn't be more grateful for the awesome sitters I have found for my dogs. Now that I am retired early, I'd love to return the favor by offering to help others with their dogs. I walk and hike everyday and until my current dog, have always owned big dogs. I understand how important it is to follow your directions for your dog, they are like kids and they all have special routines to follow. I'm happy to provide walks, day care and boarding for dogs that get along with my pup. A meet and greet is a must so I can meet you and learn how to best care for your pup. I just retired and joined Rover as a dog walker after using the service for years. I am available to walk your dog and stop for visits any time. Boarding for dog walking/drop in clients only. I have a pup of my own due to a foster failure, I just couldn't give him up. I have trained.and handled lot of different types of dogs as a volunteer for HARP and Canine Companions. I will always treat your pet as if it were one of my own. They will get a long leisurely walk with lots of time to sniff and explore. About: I have a degree in Zoology so I have a love for and knowledge of how to care for pets of many different species. I personally have had my dog for 16 years and have also had fish and 2 hamsters. I also used to work at a dog daycare so I am used to and very comfortable with dogs of any size. I am also a professional pet flight nanny with Coris Pet Journeys. I’m available for check ins anytime during the weekends and most evenings during the work week. I am also usually available most holidays to watch your furry family members. I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. That experience gave me a better understanding of how dogs communicate and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Expect lots of love, playtime, and PLENTY of photo updates. About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!

I have a 2 year old “free range” holland lop bunny who loves to keep me on my toes!
