“It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!”

About: As someone who is always trying to live vicariously through dog owners, I have been a reliable and eager puppy and cat sitter since I was young - for friends, coworkers, neighbors, and extended family. I have experience and am comfortable feeding and exercising large and small dogs, puppies and seniors. I have always had cats, and have plenty of experience with administering oral medicines and asthma treatment. I am comfortable with cleaning messes, longterm stays, overnights, and honestly whatever else is needed during your time away. I would love to send pictures and updates of your pets as much as you would like them - your pets become main characters in my life within minutes of meeting them! I am your introverted, nurturing childless millennial that treats every animal with endless attention and love. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is always to provide a safe, calm, loving environment and to care for your pets the same way I would hope someone would care for my own.

About: I have been helping to take care of animals of all kinds since I got my first dog at 5 years old. Now 21, I have over 15 years of animal care experience by helping the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I have my Girl Scout Bronze Award for setting up a pet fair that helped raise awareness and funds for local organizations that benefit animals. I am accustomed to training new pets and ensuring that senior pets get the best care they need. I can walk, feed, play, and do anything you may need to ensure that your pet is well taken care of while you are away. I am currently working part time, which entails that I have a very flexible schedule and am able to make anything work. I am willing to sit at my own residence and yours. I also have experience with house sitting. I am so excited to get to work caring for your furry friends! My schedule is very flexible which means I have plenty of time to spare on making sure your pets are okay and taken care of. I do work mostly in the evenings, only about 2-3 days a week but am never there past 8pm. I am essentially open from morning until evening nearly all day every day. My backyard is fenced off and has two levels ensuring that your pets have plenty of room to run and play! I also have a dog of my own to make sure your pet has someone to play with. My house is very secure and has lots of friendly neighbors with their own pets who would love to play and meet yours. I also live with 3 other people, which means your dog is never left unsupervised for too long.

About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! About: I have taken care of my dogs for about 12 years. I love all dogs big and small, long and short haired. I go on walks everyday and keep active. My favorite thing is to cuddle up with a dog after a long day. I can work 3-4 days a week during the day, and I am able to work all nights. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I can accommodate to others. I have an electric fence at my house, and a very well trained dog. I can listen to any and all rules at other clients’ houses. I give pets lots of love and activity. I feed and walk my dog twice a day. I clean up after him whenever it is needed. I wash him every month.

About: I’ve had ten dogs over the last 19 years and have fostered over 60 dogs in that time as well (maybe more!) Today, my pups are Sunny, Luna, Wicket, Lily and her son Dumpling. I most recently became a doggie midwife for the first time when our foster dog Lily (who came from a pretty intense hoarding situation) was found to be unexpectedly pregnant! I raised Dumpling, Snickerdoodle, and Cookie from October to March this year and have found it strangely quiet around here since (most of) the puppies have moved to their new homes. I love animals, work with a dog and pig rescue (and have been in rescue for almost two decades as well). I am also lucky to have a sister-in-law who is a vet to answer my questions. 😆 I'll stay in touch and send you ALL the pictures, of course! As any good animal lover would! I was recently laid off from my VP job in education research, so while I am doing flexible consulting work, I figured, why not do my favorite thing and hang with some awesome animals?! I am rather flexible for additional work like this and an experienced pet mom and foster dog mom for a local Pittsburgh rescue. In my home, we do have a fenced in yard, but because we currently are in progress of preparing our home for sale, I will be sitting in other homes for now.

About: I have taken care of and loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I have had my rescue dog for about 11 years now. He certainly has not always been an easy dog to take care of, as he was in an abusive home prior to my family adopting him. That being said, I have a ton of patience with dogs of all kinds, and want them to feel my warmth and love!! Additionally, I nanny, and one year the family got two new puppies. Throughout the day we would take them for walks that aligned with their abilities, ensuring that they got the exercise they needed but never pushing them past their limits. My experience with dogs varies from puppy to senior care, and I am very adaptable and flexible! This summer I will be nannying the same family Monday-Friday from 9am until about 4 or 5 pm. However, I am more than willing to walk your pet before and/or after I am done nannying (7-8 am & 5-wheneverpm) Currently, I have a dog that does not do too well with others dogs in the same vicinity… so I cannot house other dogs in my own home. However, I will of course follow whatever rules given to me to ensure maximum care for your pet!

About: I have a true passion caring for animals of all kinds. I actually want to go back to school to become a zoologist or a veterinarian. Animals have always been a passion which is why I genuinely love rover. I have a little hamster who I adore and even take care of my roommates dog when she goes on vacation at times. I care for her dog tollie like she is my own. that’s the type of caretaker I am. Cats, dogs, small mammals…you name it, I can do it.
