About: I've had somewhat minimal experience taking care of dogs so 2 years is a bit of an estimate. Cats are more of my experience. But I've spent time caring for my extended family's maltipoos and had maltese and doodle mixes around from friends so I prefer the little ones that are easier to wrangle. No skills in training, but I have no problem barking orders and cleaning up potty time. I work full time from home so I can be flexible with my schedule, as some days/times of day can be more open than others. It all depends week to week, but that's also the great thing about it. More flexibility to sneak in these opportunities. Boardings won't work for us with my own cats, but happy to come to yours to care for them. I want to know your instructions to ensure the best environment is created for them.

About: As someone who is always trying to live vicariously through dog owners, I have been a reliable and eager puppy and cat sitter since I was young - for friends, coworkers, neighbors, and extended family. I have experience and am comfortable feeding and exercising large and small dogs, puppies and seniors. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. About: I have been dog and house sitting for over 4 years. I love animals and will treat your dog like my own. I do have 2 dogs so I understand the importance of routine, especially while their people are away since it may be a confusing time for them. I love exercise so I’m comfortable with dogs of varying energy levels. I work full time but I am available for most mornings/evenings during the week and most weekends. Please contact me to work out specific dates/times :) When I care for dogs, I usually let them run around the house or my fenced in back yard if I’m home. I also have a designated (large) room for them to hang out in if I’m leaving the house or in case they need some quiet time.

About: Hello!! I've had my own cat since 2017 and am an avid stray feeder (and occasional trapper). I also volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue at least 2 days a week, usually doing morning cat care (but sometimes you can find me there during open hours). I feed all of the cats, replace water, scoop litter boxes, clean up whatever I might find, and give medication when needed. About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. I booked Jessicah to walk Ivory my 5 year old high energy husky mix while I recovered from knee surgery. Her reviews were excellent but the deciding factor was her location, near to my home. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
