About: I have a house with a fenced yard. I like to walk my dogs and will take yours along if desired. My dogs play well with all nice dogs. The longest time between being let outside is 6 hours. If requested, I can take your dog with me almost everywhere I go. I can also come to your house to dog sit depending on location. We can stay in constant touch by phone and/or e-mail. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Open the door to let them out, fill up food and water bowls. Give them treats. Clean up pet hair. Give dogs apoquil when allergies/rash appear. I have a decent sized fenced yard, so they will be free to run around. I am vigilant about scooping poop as soon as possible.

About: I grew up living with cats and loving dogs, so transitioning into pet care in 2014 was a no brainer. During my years of dog walking with a DC based company, I met everyone from leash reactive large dogs to old dogs that needed to be carried down the stairs to do their business. I’ve had dogs for much of my life, including my Golden Retriever and a Lab (who passed over the Rainbow Bridge due to old age). About: Hi! I’m Alex, I’m a 28 year old graduate student in Pittsburgh and am looking to make some extra cash by doing the thing I love most - taking care of animals! I grew up with multiple dogs (big and small, young and old), two foster cats and four bunnies. Sarah was wonderful! She was incredibly responsive through the Rover app and was so flexible throughout the whole process. She even took the time to come meet my pups beforehand, really listened to everything we told her about their routines and needs, and spent quality time getting to know them. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful she was during the visit. My dogs don’t like going out in the rain, so instead of cutting the visit short, she stayed inside and played with them to make sure they still got plenty of attention and enrichment. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
