Hello! I’m Sarah, and as you'd probably expect, I am a lifelong animal lover, fortunate to grow up around dogs and other pets since I was five years old. For the past six years in my spare time, I also enjoyed volunteering multiple days a week as a dog handler and walker for a local animal shelter, where I had also gone through training to work with their tougher resident cases. I found working with the shy, fearful, or withdrawn personalities especially rewarding. I adore interacting with all kinds of dogs, and I’d love to meet and spend time with yours! I am self-employed and therefore have flexibility in my schedule. I have availability for walks during late mornings, afternoons in general, and sometimes evenings as well. At this time, I am providing walks and visits in the Squirrel Hill, Greenfield, Oakland, Shadyside, Point Breeze, and Regent Square area. Other neighborhoods may work for sitting if fewer visits are necessary. At this time I provide half hour walks (typically a 25 minute outing with some time left for a little play, dinner set-up, water refresh, etc), drop-ins, and sitting at your location—either as an traditional overnight stay or as a series of day through evening drop-ins instead, depending on your preferences and dog’s needs.
