About: I have taken care of our seniors out there, our newbies, and everything in between! There has never been time when I have not had a cat or dog in my house. All of my pets are well taken care of and live long happy lives. My oldest cat Sadie made it to 21 years old, and I currently have a 4 year old Great Pyrenees, 15 year old chiweenie who is still going strong (even with only having one eye)! I also have 4 cats that always keep things interesting! I can administer meds, stay overnight, or just drop in to say hello! I treat every animal like they’re my own so they will be loved and protected while in my care!

I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: I grew up in the area walking dogs all throughout my neighborhood. I even have extensive experience caring for dogs over night for extended periods of time. Additionally, my family has a dog that I grew up caring for. He’s a rescue and had a really hard time adjusting to our family, but with time, he settled in well and grew to love us. I love all dogs and feel comfortable caring for any size, breed, etc. I work from home full time and can create my own hours. Most of the time, I work from 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday, but I am not preoccupied during all of those hours. As long as I get my work done, I typically have a lot of free time throughout the day. My husband also works from home, so it is just the two of us in the house all day. We have a spacious three bedroom house and live right in the heart of Squirrel Hill. I can easily crate your dog in my living room if needed and would never be far from them. If crating is not needed, I spend most of my time in my office, directly next to the living room, working anyways. I would be able to spend most of my time with your dog to keep them company and play whenever they wanted. I work fully remote in a 9-5 job, however I create my own schedule on a day to day basis. I have a project based job so I’m required to meet certain deadlines, which gives me a lot of freedom to manage my own time. I typically start my days with working out around 6am and then will begin working right away as to give myself more time in the day to eat, go on walks, and give myself mental breaks. I want to make your pet feel as at home as possible. They would be welcome to hang out with me while I work or just hang out on the couch or deck/backyard. I’m all for playing games so if they have any toys you’d like to bring, I welcome that!

“Our dog Woody had a great stay with Victoria. It was our first time leaving him and we loved seeing the videos of him that she sent twice a day. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. He came home happy and tired from playing with all of his friends.”
“She is amazing with dogs. She even goes the extra mile to ensure my pup is safe with a gps collar when they go to the dog park. She is responsible and responsive and will share pics and check in at whatever frequency you are comfortable with. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for boarding for their pup.”
“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my two cats for 10 days while we went on vacation. I got daily photos and updates. She listened carefully to my needs and concerns and we had a video call so I could feel comfortable leaving my kitties with her. She was even able to give my cats their medicine before they got in the car to go home and accommodated a time/day change when I wanted to pick them up a day early. She enjoyed walks and couch naps and Justin periodically sent picture updates. He was flexible with drop off and pick up.
