About: Dogsitting and dogwalking has been on my resume since I was 11. Growing up in a family of animal lovers, it wasn’t uncommon to take in a four legged family member for the weekend or to spend the weekend hiking and adventuring outdoors with pets. I utilize my rapport and extended background with animals as well as training from being a Girl Scout camp counselor to provide the best experience for all animals. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to go on adventures with any furry guests and give them my full attention. I have a fairly flexible schedule — perfect for daytime walks, outdoor playtime, and evening care. My availability is generally between 8 AM and 10 PM, so I can easily accommodate a variety of routines. At the moment, I’m only offering walks and drop-in visits (no overnight stays), but I’m happy to provide multiple check-ins throughout the day to keep your pet comfortable and cared for in their own home. Please note for April 13-April 30: I will be unavailable for drop-ins + walks after 12pm. I’m more than happy to come to your home to ensure your pets are cared for, comfortable, and getting the attention they need in a familiar environment. I approach every sitting with the understanding that I’m stepping into your pet’s world—their home, routine, and safe space. I prioritize consistency and a calm, gentle presence, especially for anxious or timid pets. I’m mindful of my tone, volume, and movements, and I keep routines as normal as possible. With repeat visits, I use the same soft greeting so they begin to recognize and feel safe with me. I never force interaction and always allow pets to approach on their own terms, building trust at their pace.

About: To truly relax and unwind as well as receive proper attention, diet, and exercise, a customized stay is what I would say I provide while sitting for your dog(s) and/or other pets. Not quite Cesar the whisperer, I would agree that I have a certain level of communication with dogs (specifically) that I still can’t fully describe in words. Being knowledgeable of the steel city, it's parks and areas that cater to pets, as well as maintaining constant awareness of your pet's needs, I can easily balance my time and services provided. This is my way of saying I'll pay full attention to your pet, not neglect them for screen time on the phone. Available for new and returning clients. I prefer active and energetic walks over lap time any day. Have a stubborn pup pulling ya? Let me take a stroll with me and my cowboy boots. I would appreciate some time with the owner in the home for any time over a nights stay, but am more than willing to mix up the ‘meet and greet’ options, provided by Rover’s integration of the virtual chat available. Your choice of course! I’m active. Usually out and about unless on duty inside the home, then Im able to shift into caregiver man, which at first was a challenge, now is a breeze. I care for all breeds, even special needs and cares, as well as elder pups. Oh, right, and puppies, too! That way you can rest assured that your dog is taken care of with special attention given to him/her, focused on those with high anxiety and former trauma/re-homed. I have no doubt that your schedule (routine) will be followed as instructed. i am easily a morning bird but also ok being night owl. Either way, I respect your time. Dogs are priority on my list above most humans these days, so in relation to overall safety, I am no perfectionist, but I also have sharp adaptability and quick thinking skills. When safety ,if ever, becomes compromised, the dogs always come first. Unless, like, a baby is being born on the street, and Im somehow the only guy there, your pup will be watched over properly. Not to smother them, just the right amount of time.

About: I'm a grad student looking to help out in any way I can. As a sitter, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and playtime with animals. I also enjoy watching them grow and learn during life in general. I've been pet sitting since I was 13 years old, raised around five family cats, but I have seven years of professional experience with working with different families locally. With being CPR certified and vaccinated against Covid-19, animal safety is important to me, especially during these times. With that being said, I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping to create memorable experiences for everyone!
