About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I have a hybrid job which means that I work from home doing Telehealth services and I also see clients in person at times. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.

I do have 2 dogs so I understand the importance of routine, especially while their people are away since it may be a confusing time for them. About: Hello!! I've had my own cat since 2017 and am an avid stray feeder (and occasional trapper). I also volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue at least 2 days a week, usually doing morning cat care (but sometimes you can find me there during open hours). I feed all of the cats, replace water, scoop litter boxes, clean up whatever I might find, and give medication when needed. I once drove home in a blizzard because I couldn't see my cat on my cameras (she was completely fine). “Emily did a great job at watching Luna while I was away for the week. My only advice would be to maybe send more pictures or updates but Luna seemed happy enough when I picked her up so I know that she had a nice time. Would recommend and use again!”
