About: As someone who is always trying to live vicariously through dog owners (my parents were allergic), I have been a reliable and eager puppy and cat sitter since I was young - for friends, coworkers, neighbors, and extended family. I am comfortable with cleaning messes, longterm stays, overnights, and honestly whatever else is needed during your time away. I would love to send pictures and updates of your pets as much as you would like them - your pets become main characters in my life within minutes of meeting them! I am your introverted, nurturing childless millennial that treats every animal with endless attention and love. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. “There is no rating high enough for Sarah. From pre-booking to the home visit, to watching our home and our fur babies while we were on vacation, Sarah was amazing. Her situation was unique that in addition to taking care of our adult cats, we asked her to take care of a (somewhat friendly) mama cat and her 5 week old kittens. Sarah graciously offered her time for 24/7 care. And of course, just when we thought all was going smoothly, a hornet appeared in our finished basement which is unusual. This is where mama and babies are located. Then another one appeared - VERY unusual. When the third one appeared, not so far from the kittens, Sarah sprang into action and, together, we figured out a safe solution to draw any potential bees inside the home to outside the home. Sarah was a real trooper and took care of the home and pets like they were her own. No more bees appeared and life returned to “normal”. Well, as normal as can be for a home with cats and kittens. I can vouch for Sarah and she will be our first choice for future house and pet care needs. Sarah is friendly, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator and our fur babies loved her.”

Soephie watched our doggies while we went out of town for a few days and all we can say is that she was absolutely amazing! She sent us periodic updates and lots of photos of our babies. Trinity was amazing, she took care of our cat Bathtub for two weeks and she gave us such peace of mind! Sydney was so lovely! She was great with Tallulah and gave us updates and sent photos throughout our Christmas trip. She was extremely professional and let us know when our dog tore up some soft toys overnight, and even cleaned it all up for us! Tallulah is a bit of a princess and doesn't like going potty in the rain to the extent of faking a pee to get back inside... Sydney saw right through the trick and made sure she went potty. This was our second booking with Lauren and we could not be happier! She truly went above and beyond taking care of our 2 dogs. 3 days into our trip she contacted us to let us know she had noticed symptoms of a UTI in one of our dogs. We stayed in close communication with both Lauren and our veterinary office as we worked to figure out the best course of action. Lauren was wonderful as she collected a urine sample (which took a few attempts due to rain and darkness!) and drove to our vet’s office to collect the necessary medication then administer them over the following days. Throughout all this she still provided plenty of updates regarding normal care including meals, bathroom breaks, and playtime for the dogs. We will absolutely be rebooking Lauren for any travel needs in the future!
Caroline was patient and understanding with our dog Fig. She sent pictures and daily updates which made us feel more comfortable about being away from our pets and home. I would books with her again ! We were really happy with how she took care of Fig and our cats.
