About: I have been working with dogs for over 6 years. I used to walk dogs with my sister and now I assist her with training them. I am currently attending a community college so I have a lot of free time to be with other dogs. I am also available to board in my home most nights! I have a fenced in yard at my house. About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of. About: I have had 3 dogs of my own! An Australian Cattle Dog Mix, a Basenji mix, and a working line large breed German Shepherd, which I helped train in obedience to be an SD. My dogs always had scheduled potty breaks and playtime. My job is to make sure your pet has the best time while keeping boundaries/respecting their space, ensuring their safety, and following your expectations of care. I am comfortable with any amount of shedding and the size of your pet. I can especially ease my interaction with pets that are scared and anxious, as through training my own dog, I am better at picking up the dog’s body language and only engage in physical contact if the pet’s body language consents. If you have an aggressive pet, please notify me beforehand. I do not guarantee I will agree to care for them, but I am interested in scheduling a first meeting if possible. Note: I do not drink/smoke, so your loved one will never be affected by second-hand smoke or inappropriate behavior. I am very available on the weekends and by the afternoon on weekdays. If you need morning care, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! My pets are routinely groomed and freshened. Everytime they come inside after heavy play, I clean their body from head to toe with pet friendly wipes. I use a brush that helps with shedding and smoothing out hair. Their teeth gets brushed every 2 weeks. I check their ears for dirt routinely and the inside of their paws for any injuries or cracking from dryness.

Amanda was so fantastic! My trip plans shifted last minute and I had to have her leave for a day and come back after she’d already started to settle in, and she was soooo understanding and flexible. Sydney was so lovely! She was great with Tallulah and gave us updates and sent photos throughout our Christmas trip. She was extremely professional and let us know when our dog tore up some soft toys overnight, and even cleaned it all up for us! Tallulah is a bit of a princess and doesn't like going potty in the rain to the extent of faking a pee to get back inside... Sydney saw right through the trick and made sure she went potty.
