About: I've rescued animals for decades, since I was 22. That includes cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even my very first pet, a mouse. Several of my companions were with me for 14 to 16 years. I once ran a small rescue rehabilitating and fostering guinea pigs, including some with special needs, and found them their forever homes. I've also cared for pets with special needs of their own. One of my cats was blind, deaf, and had seizures. It never slowed her down, and I loved helping her navigate her world with confidence. She was a dilute Calico and just the most adorable soul. Right now I share my home with Phantom, a Tuxedo cat whose face is half black and half white, just like the Phantom of the Opera, hence the creative name! Her rescue name was Chatty Kathy, and she earned it honestly, she's a total talker who even says "I love you Maw!" She's affectionate, curious, and follows me around like a puppy. Phantom is over 13 and a half now. I've also pet sat large breeds, including one 180-pound gentle giant who was still just a puppy! When I visit, your companion will have my full, undivided attention. I'll follow every care instruction you set. I'll also interact in exactly the way they enjoy, whether that's playtime and cuddles, or simply having food, water, and litter taken care of while they go about their day. You know your loved one best. Just tell me their routine, and I'll follow it closely. I also use a Rover Pet Sitter myself when my husband and I travel. Phantom adores her, and I truly believe this is one of the most incredible services available for pet parents. It's reassuring, and I always feel confident traveling knowing Phantom is in great care. About: Hi! My name is Brooke, and I’m excited to be back on Rover and looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members. I’ve been on and off Rover since 2017 after graduating from college. I originally joined to earn some extra income while searching for my first full-time career. Once I found my "big girl job," I had less time available for pet sitting and stepped away for a while. In 2020, during the COVID pandemic, my husband and I were expecting our first child when we both experienced job changes. I rejoined Rover to bring in some extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoyed. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. I would love to fill this free time by taking care of your beloved pets! Dogs will be fully leashed before leaving the home for their walk. Doors will be double checked before leaving/entering to check for pets nearby. Your property will be treated as if it were my own during my visit.

About: My love and passion for animals of all shapes and size has been visible from a young age. I will be attending Vet Tech Institute this summer, so I promise that your fur-baby will be my #1 priority! I will treat not only you, but your furry friend with the upmost compassion and respect! My fur-babies are what you call... SPOILED! They will be given the absolute best treatment followed by plenty of love and treats! I respect the boundaries of any client, whether it be your pet's or your own! I promise to do my best to make you feel worry free while your furry friend is in my care! I am currently in between jobs, so I have all of the time in the world to love and care for your pups! I accept same day appointments! 🐾 Unfortunately, I live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets. When I am in your home, I will treat your property, but most importantly, your dog with the absolute most respect. I will tend and cater to your pup's needs as directed and needed. I will treat your furry-friend as if they were my own and continuously spoil them during our time together!
About: I have a true passion caring for animals of all kinds. I actually want to go back to school to become a zoologist or a veterinarian. Animals have always been a passion which is why I genuinely love rover. I have a little hamster who I adore and even take care of my roommates dog when she goes on vacation at times. I care for her dog tollie like she is my own. that’s the type of caretaker I am. Cats, dogs, small mammals…you name it, I can do it. So no matter if you have to stay at work late or just going on vacation, I can be there for your pet. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and even schedule a meet and greet. I will be more than happy to show you I’m the right fit! I am currently working weekends and I work afternoons on weekdays but other than that I’m usually free so if you were thinking of scheduling with me definitely feel free to reach out If you were thinking of scheduling me for in-home visits/care these are things you should know.
