About: I am a current kennel attendant at Camp Bow Wow and a volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue for many years! I have plenty of experience with all ages and breeds of animals! I am completely available outside of my doggie daycare schedule! It does change weekly, but I don’t mind squeezing your pets into my schedule! I am very well educated on the love and care that our furbabies need to thrive! I pride myself in my commitment to building a trust filled relationship with every animal I come across!
“Myah did a wonderful job with our Stella! When I walked in, Stella was like "oh you're here," which is the perfect and desired response when any of us return. Stella should know she is safe at home and whoever walks through that door will take care of her. And Myah did very well, meeting our girl's needs in our neighborhood. Will definitely rebook!”

About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.
“Brynn and John took excellent care of Chloe. I most highly recommend them as dog sitters. Chloe was well taken care of, walked, and encouraged to eat. Brynn and John provided photos and notes at each visit, which I appreciated very much.”

“Lauren was open to a thorough meet and greet prior to watching our two kitties, and she took the biggest weight off our shoulders while we were away. She sent plenty of updates, gave them their favorite treats, and lots of loving and play time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving them like your own! They’ll be excited to see you next time!”

“When my new rescue was not cleared from ringworm, and my elderly neighbor could no longer look after her, Markie took on a last minute sitting job from after Christmas till the day after New Year’s Day. She applied topical meds and gave liquids as well. Everyone stayed safe and was cared for! She even helped when the kitten found a way to capsize her enclosure. Thank you, Markie!”
About: I have over eight years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, with extra experience in training puppies and administering medication. my schedule is pretty open and I'm almost always available for last minute bookings. I have a wide availability, and my own car for reliable transportation. I'm available 7 AM to 7 PM Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but I can always come earlier or stay later when needed. I will gladly follow any rules set, and any schedule that your pup may be on. I can also take them on walks, play outside, or even take them to the dog park.
“Our two older cats were so well cared for by Lara. One of our cats requires meds twice a day and she was able to keep him on his med routine the entire time we were away, which was really impressive. Our home was clean when we got home - litter boxes tidy and everything in place. We're really happy with the care provided and absolutely would book her again to care for our boys! Thank you Lara!”

“Matthew went above and beyond to care for our 3 cats. He followed instructions, but also brought in packages for us and cleaned the cats' dirty dishes which wasn't at all expected. I definitely recommend him!”

“Great experience with Abigail. She was responsive, caring, respectful of my home and pets, and most importantly, my cats both liked her! My cats were in very capable hands and I'll definitely request care from her again!”

“Wallis was the best sitter for our two cats while we were on vacation! She took the time to meet our girls before caring for them and even got our shy cat to come out of our shell around her. We can tell that she cared about our cats like they were her own and will definitely have her watch our cats again in the future if able!”

About: I’ve had dogs and the occasional cat since I was born, including a sweet old lab/doberman mix, a lazy corgi mix, and an anxious westie. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters from a young age and have watched over many friends’ and neighbors’ pets. I’m free just about 24/7 as I’m on summer break from university. I’m more than happy to stay overnight, stop by throughout the day, and be up early in the morning. When taking care of your pets, all of my attention will be on them and their health, safety, and comfort. Beyond that, I will follow whatever instructions are given to me, as I understand every pet is different. I’m happy to play energetically or sit quietly while your pet gets used to a new friend.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially cats and dogs, and I’ve always felt really comfortable with them. Growing up, pets were just part of daily life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. As a teenager, I used to walk a family friend’s dog, which I really enjoyed. It taught me how important patience, consistency, and trust are when working with animals. I also have a senior cat now who even moved across the country with me, so I’m very used to caring for pets that need routine and a gentle, steady approach. When I’m with dogs, I just try to keep things calm, safe, and positive. Whether it’s a walk, feeding, or hanging out for company, I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m flexible throughout the week and can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, check-ins, or drop-ins. I like keeping things consistent for pets, so I do my best to stick to their normal routine and times whenever possible. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping things calm, safe, and familiar for them. I always follow any instructions exactly as given, especially for feeding, walks, and routines. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and make sure everything stays clean and as you left it. With pets, I take my time to build trust so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
“Disha was absolutely incredible! My wife and I were away for 10 days, and she took amazing care of our cat, Little John, who is truly our pride and joy. She stopped by every day, provided great updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Disha is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Zachary was fantastic! He completed drop in stops for our cat while we were out of town. He sent great updates and pictures during his drop ins. Next time we need a sitter for our cat, we will book with Zachary again.”

5 star pet sitter!!! Cori is the best!! My cats absolutely adore her and she is my go to kitty sitter! She makes sure your cats are well cared for and loved, while giving their medications and meeting their unique needs. I hope I can have her for all of our trips!! Thank you Cori!!!

This is the second time I have asked Kaysie to check on my cat while I'm away and I still recommend her wholeheartedly. It's so nice to get updates while I'm away and see that my kitty is getting some cuddles and playtime as well as her meds and other basic needs. This trip was complicated by severe weather, and Kaysie kindly reached out to see if I needed any extra help just in case I couldn't get home on time. I really appreciate it!

Aisha is the absolute best ❤️ My 4 cats are very complicated. They all eat different foods and are having issues getting along. Aisha was so sweet and accommodating from the very beginning. She’s very reliable, handling my cats and their complexities without any issues. She went above and beyond with respect to my cats and in regards of my home. I’ve never felt so comfortable with a Rover sitter before! I know I never have to worry when Aisha is watching my babies 🥹🥰

I would highly recommend Soephie to any person with nervous cats. My very introverted cat only took a day and a half to grow fond of her and even play and seek affection. She took such great care of my little ones and sent very detailed updates at every visit. As an anxious cat owner, I felt super comfortable leaving them in her care for 4 days and she even vacuumed my cat room to take some pressure off an upcoming move to a new house! 10/5 wasn't a star rating option.

Blair is great!! This is the second time she has cared for my cat, Nebby because I know she is in good hands with her. Blair is there at the times we agreed on, feeds and plays with Nebby and always sends photos. At the last minute she was even able to add an additional visit on Saturday December 14 due to the snowstorm!! I will definitely have her care for my cat again!!

Mary is wonderful with the cats, always sending hilarious photos and takes exceptional care of them. I get lots of updates and it’s really reassuring to know they are well taken care of. My house is always left in perfect condition too, I’m very happy with the service!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brentwood. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
