About: I've had somewhat minimal experience taking care of dogs so 2 years is a bit of an estimate. Cats are more of my experience. But I've spent time caring for my extended family's maltipoos and had maltese and doodle mixes around from friends so I prefer the little ones that are easier to wrangle. No skills in training, but I have no problem barking orders and cleaning up potty time. I work full time from home so I can be flexible with my schedule, as some days/times of day can be more open than others. It all depends week to week, but that's also the great thing about it. More flexibility to sneak in these opportunities. Boardings won't work for us with my own cats, but happy to come to yours to care for them. I want to know your instructions to ensure the best environment is created for them.

My night shift schedule at the VA allows me to be available all day to give your pet the attentive care that he/she needs including keeping them company, letting them out for potty breaks, walks,feeds,etc. With house-sitting, I will leave your home the way you left it. I will ensure that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well-fed. I will observe your pets closely. If I notice anything “off” about your pets, you will be notified immediately so that appropriate action is taken if needed.
About: Thank you for considering me! I’m new to Rover, but for me, animals have always been family. Growing up, I was responsible for taking care of my family’s two dogs. I am able to drop in before and after my shifts, as well as anytime on weekends! Dog walks are better suited for after my work shifts. I’d only be available for House sitting typically from Friday evenings to Sunday evenings/Monday mornings, although don’t hesitate to reach out as it’s possible we could get something coordinated. Communication is key! Safety is huge for me. Having multiple pets that are escape artists has taught me to be very vigilant when opening our front door. Your pet’s safety is my top priority!

“There is no rating high enough for Sarah. From pre-booking to the home visit, to watching our home and our fur babies while we were on vacation, Sarah was amazing. Her situation was unique that in addition to taking care of our adult cats, we asked her to take care of a (somewhat friendly) mama cat and her 5 week old kittens. Sarah graciously offered her time for 24/7 care. And of course, just when we thought all was going smoothly, a hornet appeared in our finished basement which is unusual. This is where mama and babies are located. Then another one appeared - VERY unusual. When the third one appeared, not so far from the kittens, Sarah sprang into action and, together, we figured out a safe solution to draw any potential bees inside the home to outside the home. Sarah was a real trooper and took care of the home and pets like they were her own. No more bees appeared and life returned to “normal”. Well, as normal as can be for a home with cats and kittens. I can vouch for Sarah and she will be our first choice for future house and pet care needs. Sarah is friendly, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator and our fur babies loved her.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs. We usually had 3 large dogs at all times in my house. I have now lived on my own for 4 years taking care of my dog, Cash. He is the absolute joy of my life. I enjoy walking and being active. I can’t wait to meet your pet and shower them with love and exercise! Lara did an excellent job caring for my diabetic cat while I was away for three days. She came twice a day to administer insulin injections right on time, every 12 hours. The cat seemed very happy and well treated when I got back. The cat likes to be brushed, and Lara took the time to keep him well brushed.
Markie was so sweet to our kitties ~ they did remarkably well, even though they hide. She talked to them and took really good care of their necessities (clean water and bowls, their food, and cleaning their litter boxes, and vacuuming their litter)! She’s great!
Maryanne was fantastic! She arranged a meet and greet prior to us booking with her and was very kind and professional. She interacted great with our shy kitties during her check-ins and provided us peace of mind by sending pictures of our furbabes at each visit. . Would definitely recommend and will request her kitty care in the future.

Our animals were very well taken care of during our time away! Kristian did a phenomenal job with our little Sheba! She’s just a kitten. We’ve only had her about two months and we had our family vacation planned well before we welcomed her into our family so we were a little bit nervous about leaving her, but then I found Rover online and lead me to Kristian and I’m so glad! She took such good care of Sheba while we were away sending updates and pictures. Such a peace of mind… She even took care of our mail which we did not ask her to do but was very helpful since we didn’t have it in hold.
