I have experience with daycare activities at the Dog Stop as well as taking care of disabled or medicated pets, and am willing to visit up to 3 times a day. I have an extremely flexible schedule and will prioritize your pet’s needs. If your pet has unusual meal times, I will make it happen. I will make up to 3 house visits a day depending on your pet’s requirements, and each visit will last as long as it needs to until all needs are met. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds, including cats, dogs, turtles, goats, chickens, and ducks. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about. I’m definitely a cat person at heart, but I absolutely love dogs too! My boyfriend is allergic, so having a dog of our own isn’t really an option. Pet sitting gives me the perfect excuse to get my dog fix and give them all the attention, walks, playtime, and love I’d give one of my own. I’ve also volunteered as a dog walker at the Humane Society, where I gained experience walking and handling dogs with a variety of sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Recently, I rescued two separate litters of kittens and helped care for them, including bottle-feeding and providing the extra attention young kittens need. “There is no rating high enough for Sarah. From pre-booking to the home visit, to watching our home and our fur babies while we were on vacation, Sarah was amazing. Her situation was unique that in addition to taking care of our adult cats, we asked her to take care of a (somewhat friendly) mama cat and her 5 week old kittens. Sarah graciously offered her time for 24/7 care. And of course, just when we thought all was going smoothly, a hornet appeared in our finished basement which is unusual. This is where mama and babies are located. Then another one appeared - VERY unusual. When the third one appeared, not so far from the kittens, Sarah sprang into action and, together, we figured out a safe solution to draw any potential bees inside the home to outside the home. Sarah was a real trooper and took care of the home and pets like they were her own. No more bees appeared and life returned to “normal”. Well, as normal as can be for a home with cats and kittens. I can vouch for Sarah and she will be our first choice for future house and pet care needs. Sarah is friendly, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator and our fur babies loved her.”

About: I went to a vet tech program in high school which made me familiar with disabilities and health issues in pets. I have trained both my medium/large dogs and even one of my cats. I am comfortable with animals of any size or shape. I have also raised three happy independent kittens from when they were only just about a month old. I am currently working on getting a job as an EMT and applying to colleges, Currently I am available weekdays after 3 pm and weekends after 12:00 pm(this is flexible and I would be willing to stretch earlier in the day if needed but it is a general guideline). My availability once I get a job at an ambulance company may change but it should not be anything too significant. I can come over for up to a few hours a day to spend time with/ feed any animals in the household, I unfortunately can not stay overnight due to my own cat at home but would be willing to come over earlier in the morning and stay all day if necessary. If walking a dog we will discuss and plan a route, or discuss how long the walks should be for me to walk beforehand.

Lara did an excellent job caring for my diabetic cat while I was away for three days. She came twice a day to administer insulin injections right on time, every 12 hours. The cat seemed very happy and well treated when I got back. The cat likes to be brushed, and Lara took the time to keep him well brushed.
Krista has helped out with our Mr. Man quite a few times now. Mr. Man just loves Krista and he always receives the best of care from her! We can leave home for a little while and feel assured that our beloved "kitten" is in good hands while we are away. A million thanks to Krista for all of her help!!!
This was our second time having Elise watch our 2 cats while we were out of town. Knowing they are getting excellent care while we’re away makes it so much easier. Elise is great at communicating and sending updates, and you can sense her genuine love for what she does.
