About: I've rescued animals for decades, since I was 22. That includes cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even my very first pet, a mouse. Several of my companions were with me for 14 to 16 years. I once ran a small rescue rehabilitating and fostering guinea pigs, including some with special needs, and found them their forever homes. I've also cared for pets with special needs of their own. One of my cats was blind, deaf, and had seizures. It never slowed her down, and I loved helping her navigate her world with confidence. She was a dilute Calico and just the most adorable soul. Right now I share my home with Phantom, a Tuxedo cat whose face is half black and half white, just like the Phantom of the Opera, hence the creative name! Her rescue name was Chatty Kathy, and she earned it honestly, she's a total talker who even says "I love you Maw!" She's affectionate, curious, and follows me around like a puppy. Phantom is over 13 and a half now. I've also pet sat large breeds, including one 180-pound gentle giant who was still just a puppy! When I visit, your companion will have my full, undivided attention. I'll follow every care instruction you set. I'll also interact in exactly the way they enjoy, whether that's playtime and cuddles, or simply having food, water, and litter taken care of while they go about their day. You know your loved one best. Just tell me their routine, and I'll follow it closely. I also use a Rover Pet Sitter myself when my husband and I travel. Phantom adores her, and I truly believe this is one of the most incredible services available for pet parents. It's reassuring, and I always feel confident traveling knowing Phantom is in great care. Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. About: Hi there! I work from home my two available days a week, which means your dog gets 24/7 companionship, frequent backyard potty breaks, and mid-day snuggles on the couch. I grew up with dogs, and I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors. I am experienced with medication administration, limited mobility, and managing separation anxiety. I live right by Bird Park and in a very walkable neighborhood, and can accommodate 2-3 walks a day - but if your dog is happier cuddling/sleeping inside, that’s okay too! I’d like to match your dogs normal routine as much as possible and make sure they get as much play and rest time as they need. Your dog will be safe and happy with me! I currently work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday) so I will be available 24/7 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I request that you give me your dogs normal schedule, and I will follow it exactly to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I am available after 3pm Tuesdays through Thursdays. Your dog will be the only pet in my home, and my top priority! I require a meet and greet before boarding to ensure we are the right fit. I will keep you updated with daily pics of your pup. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My home is clean and free from any hazards to your pup, and I will follow your exact household rules regarding feeding and anything else. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. About: I’ve had ten dogs over the last 19 years and have fostered over 60 dogs in that time as well (maybe more!) Today, my pups are Sunny, Luna, Wicket, Lily and her son Dumpling. I most recently became a doggie midwife for the first time when our foster dog Lily (who came from a pretty intense hoarding situation) was found to be unexpectedly pregnant! I raised Dumpling, Snickerdoodle, and Cookie from October to March this year and have found it strangely quiet around here since (most of) the puppies have moved to their new homes. About: I've been dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and Family since my senior year of High School. I have dogs watched all sized dogs . I love dogs, dogs love me. I think animals are better than humans. I will spoil them with walks, love and treats while they are in my care. Recently let go from my work at a non profit. Thinking my of next move. Have free time now. Need something to do while I figure out my next move. I don't have a fenced in yard but I live on a flat easy walkable street. Im also a few miles away from several different parks. Your pets are welcome to lay and sleep on the furniture (its use to it) I have a big front window they can look out if they like. I can give them meds and shots if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. That experience gave me a better understanding of how dogs communicate and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Expect lots of love, playtime, and PLENTY of photo updates. I have a slight obsession with taking pictures of animals so If you want one picture, I can do that. If you want one million… I can definitely do that too! 📸🐾
