When I was a little girl, I remember my cat going to the bottom of my sleeping bag. I was worried she was going to suffocate, so I tried to move her to the top of the sleeping bag, to no avail. Imagine my shock when I suddenly felt something wet on my leg....my cat was having her kittens! I have been around cats my whole life. For a while I volunteered at Animal Friends to work with cats, so I did go through volunteer training there. I love cats. I respect cats. I can take care of your cat if you like. I had a couple of dogs for several years, so I am familiar with dog care. I also can take care of rabbits. I took care of my mother's rabbits over the years. Hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils and rats...I love them all!! While I may not have years of paid experience taking care of animals, I have a deep love for animals. I think pets are like children and they truly add something special and amazing to our lives. I believe animals deserved to be cherished and protected.
