If I know their weight, temperament, preferences, and any medical needs, I'm usually set. In MY house, we will communicate if one of the dogs has NOT peed or pooed so that the other can make sure it happens. So if you need that from me, I can do that.

I've owned dogs that love to play ball, and I've owned dogs who didn't know what a toy was. I like to ask questions about each one and do what they individually enjoy. If they chase -- but don't return -- a ball, then I'll go grab it and throw it again. I don't have a lot of skills with a frisbee, but I'll try! I have also cat-sit for neighbors, dragged their 'mice' or feathers, used a laser, and rolled balls with bells. I can recognize when they are ready for play or petting vs ready for a nap. For dog walks, I am used to picking the side of the street with the shade, watching for neighborhood outdoor cats that might stand their ground, and loose dogs. I have also fostered a silly dog that, against all odds of having lived on the streets, still randomly decided to try and cross the street at inopportune moments... as in, I'm strong and can keep them safely on a path or sidewalk.
