About: Special needs pets are my specialty. With over 10 years experience in the veterinary office and a previous 5 years in Kennel/Shelter medicine, there isn't a pet sitting request I can't handle! Over the years, I've owned and/or cared for pets with multiple health issues, including, diabetes, thyroid disease, kidney disease multiple cancers, heart conditions, urinary issues (both incontinence and blocking), along with pregnant and nursing moms (dogs and cats). The majority of my pet care is done in your home as I try to keep your pet's time/environment/schedule with me as consistent as you have it. My schedule is quite flexible as I've recently decided to take a sabbatical from the veterinary office to recharge and reprioritize. I look forward to meeting you and to caring for your furbabies.

About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I take care of my 2 dogs at home, while helping out family and friends by walking and feeding their pets. I am graduating from college in May, currently work part-time, and would like to use my extra time to spend time with and play with your pets! I will come to your house to feed, play, and walk your dog(s). If your dog is car friendly, i would be more than happy to take them to a park. If you have a cat, I will clean their litter box, feed and give them water, I can also play with them if that is something they like.

About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs since I was little. I played with them, walked the dogs when needed, fed them, cleaned out litters boxes or the yard. I’ve played with neighborhood pets too. I work at a hospital, nights. I work three days a week and my typical shift is 7pm to 7am. I get home, sleep for a couple hours, and then I get up. I can do pet care the moment I’m done with work or later in the afternoon. I have two cats personally. They are fed every morning when I wake up, and every evening my boyfriend comes to feed them while I go to work. They have dry food that they can graze on through the day, water bowls out in the kitchen, a clean litter box that is in my own room because that’s where they know. They go yearly to the vet for check ups and shots. And they are always given love.

About: I am a current kennel attendant at Camp Bow Wow and a volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue for many years! I have plenty of experience with all ages and breeds of animals! I am completely available outside of my doggie daycare schedule! It does change weekly, but I don’t mind squeezing your pets into my schedule! About: Hello! I am a pediatric nurse in Pittsburgh. My primary job allows me to be flexible! I can come for walks and visits during the week. I have been helping out with family dogs all my life! I work full time as nurse, however I work three twelve hour shifts a week so I have flexibility! I can be available during the weekdays while you are at work! I would love to drop in for visits/take your dogs for walks! I would happy to sit for a while to keep them company. Whether that’s playing or giving them cuddles.

About: As someone who is always trying to live vicariously through dog owners (my parents were allergic), I have been a reliable and eager puppy and cat sitter since I was young - for friends, coworkers, neighbors, and extended family. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! About: I have taken care of and loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I have had my rescue dog for about 11 years now. He certainly has not always been an easy dog to take care of, as he was in an abusive home prior to my family adopting him. That being said, I have a ton of patience with dogs of all kinds, and want them to feel my warmth and love!! Additionally, I nanny, and one year the family got two new puppies. Throughout the day we would take them for walks that aligned with their abilities, ensuring that they got the exercise they needed but never pushing them past their limits. My experience with dogs varies from puppy to senior care, and I am very adaptable and flexible! This summer I will be nannying the same family Monday-Friday from 9am until about 4 or 5 pm. However, I am more than willing to walk your pet before and/or after I am done nannying (7-8 am & 5-wheneverpm) Currently, I have a dog that does not do too well with others dogs in the same vicinity… so I cannot house other dogs in my own home. However, I will of course follow whatever rules given to me to ensure maximum care for your pet!
