About: This account is shared by two people! Alex and Hickory both have 10+ years of pet owning experience, including casual pets, breeding, and show animals. Animals are a large part of both of their lives, and one of the many things that bring them purpose in life. At 19 and 20 years old, both sitters have above average experience for their ages. Hickory is certified in dog training, animal husbandry, and herpetology. Alex is not certified, but has plenty life experiences and volunteer hours at animal shelters such as South Hills Pet Rescue. What animals can we care for? : Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), bearded dragons, geckos, snakes. What animals can we NOT care for? : Monitor lizards, birds, farm animals, bite risk pets, pets needing injected medication. Both sitters are working part time, and have plenty of time to care for your pets. If anything were to come up, owner and calendar will be updated. We own two dogs with PTSD, and are currently in the process of adopting a stray cat with dead tail. Our pets are fed breakfast and dinner, given oral medication, and are given ample time to play outside. Our aquatic pets are fed once daily with fasting on Sundays, and their water is tested and changed weekly.

About: Hello! I recently joined back on Rover. During Covid, my husband and I became parents to a little boy and it was time to take a break. Now I'm back! I work remotely and my schedule is pretty flexible during the day. I'm available for walks, check-in, and doggy daycare (in your home, sorry I don't like to stress my cat out with new animal friends). A little background: I have always grown up with medium to large dogs and have dog sat for family/friends for over 10 plus years. I have a cat named Cali (6 years old) and have had dogs and many types of fish growing up. I love all types of animals so I am happy to take care of any other family members you may have. About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. That experience gave me a better understanding of how dogs communicate and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! I have two dogs already, their names are Boo and Honey. Honey is two and Boo is 8. I also have two cats Ozzy and Forrest. They were foster brothers. “It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of. I will be sure to provide a good amount of playtime for your pet to make sure he or she is having a good time! I'm currently working a shift evening schedule on Thursday-Saturday, so I have plenty of time during the traditional work week to look after your pets! I have a fenced yard and would love to spend time with your dog or cat! I would love to play games with your pet, take them on walks, and will be incredibly watchful over them to make sure they don't get into trouble.

Whatever you need, I got you covered. I’ll visit your home and follow whatever routine you provide me for your fur baby. If dogs are allowed to go on adventures, I like taking them to dog parks or petco for a treat. It’s important to make sure your pet is exercised, fed, and ready to nap so when you come home your pup or kitty will be happy to see you.

About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

About: I truly have unlimited patience for all pets and especially dogs. I love interacting with them and truly making them feel special and appreciated. Getting some daily exercise is crucial not only for their physical health but also equally as important, their mental health! I currently have my own small business that has allowed me a lot of downtime during the late morning and into the early afternoon on weekdays. I would love to fill this free time by taking care of your beloved pets! Dogs will be fully leashed before leaving the home for their walk.
