About: This account is shared by two people! Alex and Hickory both have 10+ years of pet owning experience, including casual pets, breeding, and show animals. Animals are a large part of both of their lives, and one of the many things that bring them purpose in life. At 19 and 20 years old, both sitters have above average experience for their ages. Hickory is certified in dog training, animal husbandry, and herpetology. Alex is not certified, but has plenty life experiences and volunteer hours at animal shelters such as South Hills Pet Rescue. What animals can we care for? : Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), bearded dragons, geckos, snakes. What animals can we NOT care for? : Monitor lizards, birds, farm animals, bite risk pets, pets needing injected medication. Both sitters are working part time, and have plenty of time to care for your pets. If anything were to come up, owner and calendar will be updated. We own two dogs with PTSD, and are currently in the process of adopting a stray cat with dead tail. Our pets are fed breakfast and dinner, given oral medication, and are given ample time to play outside. Our aquatic pets are fed once daily with fasting on Sundays, and their water is tested and changed weekly.

“It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!”

About: I truly have unlimited patience for all pets and especially dogs. I love interacting with them and truly making them feel special and appreciated. Getting some daily exercise is crucial not only for their physical health but also equally as important, their mental health! I currently have my own small business that has allowed me a lot of downtime during the late morning and into the early afternoon on weekdays. I would love to fill this free time by taking care of your beloved pets! Dogs will be fully leashed before leaving the home for their walk. Doors will be double checked before leaving/entering to check for pets nearby. Your property will be treated as if it were my own during my visit.

About: Hello! I am a pediatric nurse in Pittsburgh. My primary job allows me to be flexible! I can come for walks and visits during the week. I have been helping out with family dogs all my life! I work full time as nurse, however I work three twelve hour shifts a week so I have flexibility! I can be available during the weekdays while you are at work! Now 21, I have over 15 years of animal care experience by helping the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I have my Girl Scout Bronze Award for setting up a pet fair that helped raise awareness and funds for local organizations that benefit animals. I am accustomed to training new pets and ensuring that senior pets get the best care they need. I can walk, feed, play, and do anything you may need to ensure that your pet is well taken care of while you are away. My schedule is very flexible which means I have plenty of time to spare on making sure your pets are okay and taken care of. I do work mostly in the evenings, only about 2-3 days a week but am never there past 8pm. I am essentially open from morning until evening nearly all day every day. My backyard is fenced off and has two levels ensuring that your pets have plenty of room to run and play! I also have a dog of my own to make sure your pet has someone to play with. My house is very secure and has lots of friendly neighbors with their own pets who would love to play and meet yours. I also live with 3 other people, which means your dog is never left unsupervised for too long.

About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. That experience gave me a better understanding of how dogs communicate and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Expect lots of love, playtime, and PLENTY of photo updates. My schedule is flexible due to my freelancer life. I can set routines with your pets if needed. I’m great at following instructions and will make sure to communicate with you updates. Whatever you need, I got you covered. I’ll visit your home and follow whatever routine you provide me for your fur baby. If dogs are allowed to go on adventures, I like taking them to dog parks or petco for a treat. It’s important to make sure your pet is exercised, fed, and ready to nap so when you come home your pup or kitty will be happy to see you.

About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs since I was little. I played with them, walked the dogs when needed, fed them, cleaned out litters boxes or the yard. I’ve played with neighborhood pets too. I work at a hospital, nights. I work three days a week and my typical shift is 7pm to 7am. I get home, sleep for a couple hours, and then I get up. I can do pet care the moment I’m done with work or later in the afternoon. I have two cats personally. They are fed every morning when I wake up, and every evening my boyfriend comes to feed them while I go to work. They have dry food that they can graze on through the day, water bowls out in the kitchen, a clean litter box that is in my own room because that’s where they know. They go yearly to the vet for check ups and shots. And they are always given love.

About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of. I will be sure to provide a good amount of playtime for your pet to make sure he or she is having a good time! At my childhood home I have a German Shepard and a Shih Tzu, along with two cats. In my own home I have two cats and a dog. Not at my home but I do have a horse! Have cared for multiple horses over the years along with barn work. I am currently a nanny about to start massage school in the summer! I also provide pet care of my employers.
