About: This account is shared by two people! Alex and Hickory both have 10+ years of pet owning experience, including casual pets, breeding, and show animals. Animals are a large part of both of their lives, and one of the many things that bring them purpose in life. At 19 and 20 years old, both sitters have above average experience for their ages. Hickory is certified in dog training, animal husbandry, and herpetology. Alex is not certified, but has plenty life experiences and volunteer hours at animal shelters such as South Hills Pet Rescue. What animals can we care for? : Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), bearded dragons, geckos, snakes. What animals can we NOT care for? : Monitor lizards, birds, farm animals, bite risk pets, pets needing injected medication. Both sitters are working part time, and have plenty of time to care for your pets. If anything were to come up, owner and calendar will be updated. We own two dogs with PTSD, and are currently in the process of adopting a stray cat with dead tail. Our pets are fed breakfast and dinner, given oral medication, and are given ample time to play outside. Our aquatic pets are fed once daily with fasting on Sundays, and their water is tested and changed weekly.

About: Hello! I am a pediatric nurse in Pittsburgh. My primary job allows me to be flexible! I can come for walks and visits during the week. I have been helping out with family dogs all my life! I work full time as nurse, however I work three twelve hour shifts a week so I have flexibility! I can be available during the weekdays while you are at work! I would love to drop in for visits/take your dogs for walks! I would happy to sit for a while to keep them company. Whether that’s playing or giving them cuddles.

About: I am a full-time Physician assistant student at Chatham university and have always adored animals and have pet sat for friends and families’ pets over the years. I cannot think of a better way to fill the extra time that I have and to help make a little money than spending time and caring for animals! I typically am at the hospital 4 days out of the week and those are usually Monday - Friday, however, an occasional weekend shift does occur. I am open to dog walking as well as drop in visits and overnight stays with you pet in your home! I will treat your pets with the same love, care, and attention that I give my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and you can trust that they’ll be in kind and responsible hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s)! My hours at the hospital very, however, they are typically four shifts per week during the weekdays at varying hours. I am usually free both weekend days. My availability changes quite often and I will keep my profile updated! I am open to walking or doing drop in visits before and after visits and overnight visits when available! I was lucky enough to foster a beagle with diabetes with my college roommates, and this required administering daily insulin shots along with several oral medications.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have about 13 years of experience caring for them. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets. About: I have been helping to take care of animals of all kinds since I got my first dog at 5 years old. Now 21, I have over 15 years of animal care experience by helping the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I’m very comfortable staying overnights with pets as long as groceries or grocery money is provided along with a comfortable accommodations as I try my best to stay with your pet most of the day if not the whole day. My schedule is flexible due to my freelancer life. I can set routines with your pets if needed. I’m great at following instructions and will make sure to communicate with you updates. If dogs are allowed to go on adventures, I like taking them to dog parks or petco for a treat. About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of.
