About: I’ve owned dogs for 30 years, including an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I have firsthand experience caring for medically complex, high-maintenance dogs and understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. After recently losing my Frenchie, I miss being around dogs, but I am not ready to own another one yet. I’d give your dog dependable, attentive care while enjoying their company. I’m retired, so my schedule is flexible. I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they need. Pet care will easily fit into my daily and weekly routine. I’m also available during weekdays, when many pet owners are at work. In my home, dogs are family and welcome throughout the house. We have a securely fenced yard and a gated porch for safe outdoor time. I can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, or they are welcome to sleep in a bed if preferred.

About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart, and I have years of experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities and needs. I currently have three rescue cats of my own, each of whom came into my life in a different way. Recently, I rescued two separate litters of kittens and helped care for them, including bottle-feeding and providing the extra attention and patience that young kittens need. One of those rescues also brought Momma into my life, and I ended up adopting her! My other two cats are rescues as well, both of whom I personally helped save and give a home. About: I've rescued animals for decades, since I was 22. That includes cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even my very first pet, a mouse. Several of my companions were with me for 14 to 16 years. I once ran a small rescue rehabilitating and fostering guinea pigs, including some with special needs, and found them their forever homes. I've also cared for pets with special needs of their own. One of my cats was blind, deaf, and had seizures. It never slowed her down, and I loved helping her navigate her world with confidence. She was a dilute Calico and just the most adorable soul. Right now I share my home with Phantom, a Tuxedo cat whose face is half black and half white, just like the Phantom of the Opera, hence the creative name! Her rescue name was Chatty Kathy, and she earned it honestly, she's a total talker who even says "I love you Maw!" She's affectionate, curious, and follows me around like a puppy. Phantom is over 13 and a half now. I've also pet sat large breeds, including one 180-pound gentle giant who was still just a puppy! When I visit, your companion will have my full, undivided attention. I'll follow every care instruction you set. I'll also interact in exactly the way they enjoy, whether that's playtime and cuddles, or simply having food, water, and litter taken care of while they go about their day. You know your loved one best. Just tell me their routine, and I'll follow it closely. I also use a Rover Pet Sitter myself when my husband and I travel. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. About: This account is shared by two people! Alex and Hickory both have 10+ years of pet owning experience, including casual pets, breeding, and show animals. Animals are a large part of both of their lives, and one of the many things that bring them purpose in life. At 19 and 20 years old, both sitters have above average experience for their ages. Hickory is certified in dog training, animal husbandry, and herpetology. Alex is not certified, but has plenty life experiences and volunteer hours at animal shelters such as South Hills Pet Rescue. What animals can we care for? : Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), bearded dragons, geckos, snakes. What animals can we NOT care for? : Monitor lizards, birds, farm animals, bite risk pets, pets needing injected medication. Both sitters are working part time, and have plenty of time to care for your pets. If anything were to come up, owner and calendar will be updated. We own two dogs with PTSD, and are currently in the process of adopting a stray cat with dead tail. Our pets are fed breakfast and dinner, given oral medication, and are given ample time to play outside. Our aquatic pets are fed once daily with fasting on Sundays, and their water is tested and changed weekly.

About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of. I work from home and my schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time and flexibility in my schedule to make sure your dog gets the proper time. I will always treat your pet with love and respect like it's my own. I take the care of my own pet extremely seriously, so I understand how important they are to you. I am happy to respect any specific wishes you have for them in your time away.
About: My name is Nicole and I have always loved animals in general. I'm looking to spend more time with dogs and cats without having to make the commitment of having another dog/cat permanently. I have two dogs already, their names are Boo and Honey. Honey is two and Boo is 8. I also have two cats Ozzy and Forrest. They were foster brothers. If you have any questions I didn't answer in this little description, feel free to ask. I have no problem answering any questions you might have to make you feel secure leaving your pet with me! I work night shift so I have plenty of time during the day to care for your pet. I also work 3 12s so I have 4 days off a week. I have two friendly dogs and two kitties to keep your pet comfortable and entertained. I have a quiet neighborhood that makes for a relaxing stroll.
About: I have a true passion caring for animals of all kinds. I actually want to go back to school to become a zoologist or a veterinarian. Animals have always been a passion which is why I genuinely love rover. I have a little hamster who I adore and even take care of my roommates dog when she goes on vacation at times. I care for her dog tollie like she is my own. that’s the type of caretaker I am. Cats, dogs, small mammals…you name it, I can do it. So no matter if you have to stay at work late or just going on vacation, I can be there for your pet. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and even schedule a meet and greet. About: I’ve owned dogs for 30 years, including an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I have firsthand experience caring for medically complex, high-maintenance dogs and understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. After recently losing my Frenchie, I miss being around dogs, but I am not ready to own another one yet. I’d give your dog dependable, attentive care while enjoying their company. I’m retired, so my schedule is flexible. I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they need. Pet care will easily fit into my daily and weekly routine. I’m also available during weekdays, when many pet owners are at work. In my home, dogs are family and welcome throughout the house. We have a securely fenced yard and a gated porch for safe outdoor time. I can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, or they are welcome to sleep in a bed if preferred.
