A Soft Spot for Senior Pups
I’ve been caring for animals my whole life including fish, rodents, small birds, and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have experience with senior dogs, and anxious pups. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I've known Margaret (Meg) for about 15 years and I can whole heartily say that she, besides being a loving and wonderful person, is a wonderful and incredibly loving pet caregiver/owner. Meg has adopted animals in their final years of life that are often overlooked and has provided unyielding, selfless care for them. She has provided a safe environment for elderly dogs through hospice and to dogs that have special needs including blindness and severe arthritis that had hindered their mobility. It takes a very big heart and courage to adopt animals that have special needs and go the extra mile to give them the best years of their lives, it's honestly one of my favorite things about my friend and I admire her greatly for it. I can't recommend her enough.
Meg recently pet sit my cats while I was out of town. She was extremely professional, passionate and responsible. She followed my babies feeding schedule to a tee and even got them catnip when they ran out! I’ve worked in veterinary medicine/animal welfare for over 12 years, so I do have a high standard of care - casual and easy but particular. She was fantastic! I could recommend her more!
Meg is so wonderful with all sorts of dogs! She's incredibly patient, thoughtful, and understanding. She knows that every dog is different and has different needs and she works hard to get to know each dog and make sure that they get their individual needs met. This is perhaps best demonstrated by the loving care she provides her own dog, Freddie, who is blind and has other medical concerns. He's a sweetheart, even when his health causes some frustrating inconveniences. But Meg's patience never wavers! She always takes the very best care of him and makes sure he gets everything he could ever want.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, medication, cuddles, and supervision.

I provide individualized care to meet you and your pet’s unique needs. The safety and comfort of the pets I work with is my biggest priority. I have experience walking and training dogs with difficult behaviors.

I love finding out about your pets favorite toys, and favorite places to go! I have a knack for finding routes in the city with green space to sniff, and less overstimulating noise and activity. Though I’m not a certified trainer I’m happy to incorporate any training you may already be working on with your pet.
