About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there’s adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.

“Esosa was amazing! From the moment she came to the meet and greet, I knew she would be a great fit. My dog has a lot of high energy, but she was so patient and willing to be gentle with her. She was punctual and made sure she showed up when she was supposed to. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog had everything she needed, and I was so touched by the photos she left and her handwritten note. I’ve never had a caregiver on Rover do such a thing. I would recommend her to everyone.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for over a decade now. It’s a passion- I went to Vet school for 6months. I am able to give insulin, give any medications. I am very comfortable with reactive dogs and I use to have a reactive dog myself so i understand it. I enjoy doing what the animal does, they like to sit around and hang out? Sure so do I! If they like to go on frequent walks and play all day? Okay I’m down! I’m very open minded and understanding of everyone’s situation. I’ve animal sat - Reptiles, Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rodents. The size makes no difference to me either, I’ve watched Great Danes and I’ve watched Corgis :) I’m not great at writing but I promise I’m great at caring for you animal 🫶🏻 I’m currently unemployed- I leave October 4th for CDL training so I just need to fill time and I would love nothing more than taking care of animals! I like to walk often - sometimes around the block but most times in the woods and for a couple miles. I’m also a gamer so I do enjoy sitting down to play for a couple hours out of the day. So I’m at home most of the day. I would more than likely come to your home but I’ll explain my living :) My boy Frodo is an off leash dog, I trained him and still continue to train him. Either me or my fiance will take him for a walk, I usually take him on about a 2mi walk. He eats 2 times a day(kibble and homemade). Lots and lots of playtime unless he’s sleeping we are doing something. Just kind of puts in your mind what I do with my animal <3
About: I currently have three dogs and three cats along with a bearded dragon. I have trained my dogs as puppies, and I also have experience in giving medication and insulin to pets. I currently work full time at a hospital, but my shifts are usually done at 3pm. I would love to spend my extra time helping out other parents of fur babies. I have a fenced in yard, with an in ground pool that has a gate. I also have two crates if needed, along with treats, food and water bowls.

“Rebecca W. has watched my two dogs (lab/terrier and coonhound mix) twice and she provides them with quality of care and sends pictures and responds quickly when I have reached out. I’m grateful for the compassion she has and reassurance that the dogs continue to live their best life while I’m away. I recommend her services and will reach out in the future to utilize her services when I need additional support.”

“Becky, is consistent in caring for our kitties and our special needs kitty who needs her asthma inhaler daily. We are lucky to have Becky take care of our two cats who love her too.”

About: I’ve been working with a variety of dogs of all different breeds for roughly 6 years via dog walking, dog sitting, etc! I love dogs of all kinds! I’m a doctoral student of occupational therapy, so most of my time is spent working via fieldwork and doing homework. I am free on Tuesdays & Thursdays for drop ins/walks, and on weekends for housesitting. I’m happy to help with any household needs specified during housesitting! Please leave me comprehensive instructions for caring for your pet(s), including meal details/times, walking schedule, etc.
About: I have been an animal lover ever since I was little. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and a dog that I helped to walk. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and have a passion for all animals. I currently work full-time but I would be able to drop-in before I start my full-time job and after I start my full-time job. I also would have more availability to drop in more times on a weekend. I currently have a cat at home that I take care of every day. I clean the litter box, fill his water, and feed him. I even have had to give him medication recently when he had to get some teeth removed.
“Isabella did great with my playful cat while I was away for a week. She sent pictures everyday and gave updates on how things were going. It was my first time being away and getting a sitter for my cat, but Isabella made me feel so comfortable with it. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve never lived without a dog, so I have life experience playing, feeding, walking, and bathing pups. I helped raise and train my parents’ Golden Retriever puppy during COVID. I’m the go-to sitter for friends’ dogs and have experience with giving oral medication safely. I work full time, but remotely on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and can easily take a break to take care of your baby. Weekends are fully open, unless out of town. I treat each clients home with professionalism and ensure that I take care not only the pets, but leave no trace of me behind. Your house is your safe space and I will never spoil that for you.
About: I have had a dog for 7 years! He is super playful and joyous. I have had to brush his teeth, clip his nails, and give him medicine, along with all other responsibilities that come with a dog. I love big dogs and am very patient with all animals. I currently work part-time and have availability in the mornings and nights! I walk everyday and am hoping to include a pet in my daily walks! I am very tidy and considerate of people's space as well as the animal's environment. I take care to keep anything dangerous locked away from my pets in my home and am very careful with opening and closing doors to the outside due to my cat!

About: I grew up around animals—my family owned a pet store, and my grandparents ran a dog grooming business, so animal care has always been a big part of my life. I’m especially experienced with greyhounds and whippets, and I’ve spent a lot of time caring for beagles, German shorthaired pointers, German shepherds, and French bulldogs. I also have hands-on experience with exotic birds, as my family used to rescue them. I have been pet sitting full time for around a year, while I work from my computer. I have a social media marketing business that's pretty flexible. I prioritise safety, routine, and clear communication. I follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication, and any training cues. I’m careful to respect boundaries, especially with dogs who are anxious, reactive, or still adjusting. I’m respectful of your home and always leave it clean and tidy. I secure doors and gates, double-check leashes and harnesses before walks, and make sure your pet is safe before leaving. I provide regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. If anything unexpected comes up, I’ll contact you right away and follow your instructions. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first.

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds, and caring for them is truly my passion. As a teacher, I’m patient, responsible, nurturing, and dependable. I grew up with dogs, so I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust. I treat every pet with love, attention, and care. I began watching dogs for family and friends in high school. Recently, I have been watching animals more frequently over the weekends which inspired me to create a Rover account! I can't say enough wonderful things about Cassandra! Recently, a storm hit our area — not exactly ideal conditions for anyone. But without hesitation, she went above and beyond her role and helped clean up before carrying on with caring for Harvey. That kind of thoughtfulness and initiative is incredibly rare. She didn't have to do that — but she did it anyway, and it meant the world to me. It's clear she genuinely cares. So If you're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and goes the extra mile (literally and figuratively), look no further. Thanks Cass :)

When Suzanna came up to meet Tugsley for a meet and greet, he immediately stayed by her side. That eased any concern I had. Suzanna was a great sitter while I was traveling and I will definitely use her again. She gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was loved and being cared for while I was away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
