I have the best experience when meeting the pet and owner in person prior to booking, almost like a consultation! This is a great time to get to know the pet, introduce myself as a stranger coming into their home, as well as get to know the owner and go over the instructions and care plan.

Temperament and behaviour towards strangers is always important to know, for the safety of everyone involved as well as to reduce stress for the pet! Any special or important info like dietary restrictions, health issues, etc., as well as simple things like what treats are their favourite!
A typical day
Each pet has different needs and energy levels special to their own personality, so I like to get to know the pet (as well as ask for tips from the owner!) and play in the way they enjoy best - whether that be toys, interactive play, or spending the day at a nearby park!

I've taken care of dogs (and other animals like cats and small pets!) pretty much my entire life. I've dog-sat for friends and families, with dogs of all different breeds and ages, and I adore looking after and loving our furry buds!

Yasmeen was very communicative during drop ins and even went out of her way to coerce my scared dog out from under the bed to go potty. She sent a lot of update photos and made the time away from my dogs feel more comfortable with her care.
Yasmeen is a fantastic sitter! Our cats are needy in two different ways, but she took care of all their needs while we were away. And she sent great updates—detailed, lots of pics, just like we like them! Would highly recommend!
Yasmeen is an absolutely fantastic sitter! From her detailed updates, it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending quality time with him. She was completely on top of his food, water, and litter box routine, and even went the extra mile to be mindful of the house, like adjusting the windows when the weather got cold. I loved reading her notes about their visits. Knowing Benji was comfortable enough to greet her at the stairs, purr the whole time, and flop around for attention gave me total peace of mind while I was away. Yasmeen is observant, incredibly caring, and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to any pet parent and will definitely be booking her again!
Yasmeen was fantastic with our kitties :) so grateful she was able to step in with short notice when our other sitter cancelled. She sent plenty of photos, snuggled them and played. Super grateful for her care!
