“Krista was a wonderful dogsitter. She provided great updates and pictures and was very patient when my dog was fussy about taking her medication. I feel good about her care and will probably have her dogsit in the future.”

About: Hi, my name is Inna and I’m a huge animal lover! I have many years of experience taking care of pets, both my own and for others. I currently have a sweet 5-year-old dog named Alberto and a friendly cat named Sam. They both get along well with other pets and love having new friends around. I am a very responsible and caring person. I know how important it is to give pets love, attention, and proper care when their owners are away. You can feel confident knowing your furry family member will be safe, happy, and well cared for in my home. I have a comfortable and pet-friendly home where your dog or cat will feel welcome. I will follow your instructions carefully and treat your pet like my own. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or feeding — I’ve got it covered! I look forward to meeting you and your pets I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your pets throughout the day. We also have a small yard where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime. Your pet will never be left alone for long — they will always have company and attention Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I always make sure the environment is safe, clean, and comfortable. I carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding food, walks, medications, or special needs. I never leave pets unattended outside, and I make sure they always feel safe and loved. I treat every animal like part of my family

“Vivian and Peter are the best dog sitters! They are so loving and kind to your pet! Loved all the pics they sent of our baby while we were gone! Thank you so much for your excellent care of our baby. Will use again.”

“We love having Erin and her family watch our sweet girl when we’re out of town. She always makes it a point to include them in their family activities and is incredibly attentive to small details like changes in dog food. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent pet watcher!! I highly recommend. They were very responsive, and flexible. My cat T-square had a blast at there place. He was loved, groomed, and cared for, as if he was with me! ❤️”

“Ali was sweet and sent us pictures of our pup while she dogs at over a weekend. She was friendly with us and our pup in our introduction a few days before our weekend away and provided great care while we were gone.”

“I was traveling last minute for a friends birthday and Maureen quickly replied and set up a meet and greet for the next day. My puppy Bruno is very loveable and was excited to meet Maureen and her family. The meet & greet went well so we booked for him to stay the next day overnight. All went well with the drop off and pick up and Maureen sent me updates on Bruno throughout his overnight stay. I would rebook with her in the future.”

“Adrienne was great! Very communicative, wrote down needed details to get a great sense of our 10-month-old Golden puppy who is quite a handful. We received daily pictures and videos, where it looked like he was well taken care of and having a great time. We would use Adrienne again!”

“I cannot recommend Brad enough! He took care of our two dogs and kept us updated multiple times a day. He followed all of our instructions to a T and still went above and beyond.”

About: Reliable boarding, house sitting and check-ins with lots of love and attention. Why pet parents love booking with me • Work from home—pets get lots of attention • Quick responses and easy communication • Daily photo & video updates • Reliable, dependable care • Comfortable with dogs and cats • Plenty of walks, playtime, and affection • I treat every pet like family Whether your pet is staying in my home or I'm caring for them in yours, my goal is simple: I want you to enjoy your trip knowing your pet is safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention. I've been around animals my entire life and have experience with both dogs and cats. As a cat owner myself, I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level. Because I work from home, pets in my care aren't left alone for long periods. They receive frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them), and lots of supervision throughout the day. When you're away, you'll receive regular photo and video updates, quick responses to messages, and the reassurance that your pet is being cared for like one of my own. I'm committed to keeping your pet's routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'd love the opportunity to care for your pet! I only care for a limited number of pets at a time so each one receives plenty of individual attention. Please contact me for any questions or to set up a meet and greet! ❤️ Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting in your home depending on your pet’s needs. I also enjoy getting my steps in and staying active, so walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to while making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm, and supervised environment with plenty of attention throughout the day since I work from home. I do currently have two cats, so I ask that dogs staying with me are cat-friendly. In a client’s home, I respect your pet’s routine, follow feeding/walking instructions carefully, and make sure they feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I believe pets should feel safe, loved, and treated like family in any environment. I have a pet-friendly backyard space for supervised outdoor time, walks, and play. Since the yard is not fenced in, safety and supervision are always a priority.
About: I love walking, playing, & watching all sorts of dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house since I was a little girl. Dogs are my best friends! I currently work as a nurse so my schedule moves around a bit. Typically I am only working about 3 days a week! Any of my 4 days off I can be available! My home is friendly & welcoming to all different dogs. I do have a fenced in yard, & a dog who gets along great with others!
“Mary and her family took amazing care of our dog while we traveled. She updated us with photos and he couldn’t wait to get out of the car when I dropped him off. We absolutely recommend her for watching your fur babies!”

“Emily and Patrick and of course Eli were wonderful with my little guy! So warm and welcoming during the meet and greet and very easy going with lots of picture and video updates! I felt at ease knowing my pup was loved on and cared for while I was out of town and would highly recommend them for anyone in need of a dog sitter.”

“She was amazing with my babies. Constantly updating me on them, and loving them like her own. She went above and beyond with taking care of them and making sure my girl didn’t loose her lamby even repairing lamby for us.”

“Stacey did great with our Belle! Her home and surrounding areas were just what we wanted for our dog when we were away. With an extended time away, possible changes in travel because of weather and being the crazy pet parents we are, Stacy was flexible, easy going and sent us sweet pictures of Belle! We would highly recommend and hope to work with her again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have over 7 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve raised puppies, fostered dogs, and cared for friends’ and family’s pets. I really try to get to know each dog because every dog is different. One thing that sets me apart is that I don’t force dogs to interact just because it’s easier for me. I have two dogs of my own, but unless you specifically want your dog to meet them and we’ve had a successful meet-and-greet, they’ll stay separate. They can peacefully exist in the same home without having to play together. work Monday through Friday, but my job is pretty flexible as long as I have a few days’ notice (3 days is perfect!). That lets me plan ahead and make sure your pup gets the care and attention they deserve. Outside of work, I’m usually home with my dogs anyway. Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or just cuddle up and nap, I’ll make sure they feel right at home while they’re with me. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first with me. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised play and a home that’s set up with dogs in mind like a child’s daycare lol. Even though I have two dogs of my own, I don’t force dogs to interact just because they’re staying in the same house. Unless you specifically want introductions and we’ve had a successful meet & greet, they’ll have their own space and routine. Think of them more like roommates than playmates. I also have a dedicated dog room that’s set up like a cozy bedroom, not a kennel. It has a comfy bed, toys, fresh water, and a camera so I can always check in on your pup if they need a quiet place to relax. It’s especially great for senior dogs, anxious dogs, or any pup that just likes having their own space. If your dog is crate trained or happens to be an escape artist, I also have two extra large metal crates available when needed. I also keep my boarding limited so every dog gets the time, attention, and care they deserve instead of feeling like just another “booking”. I’ll always follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave because I know every dog is different.

“Very thankful for Victoria. She was flexible, reasonable, and thoughtful. And super importantly for me, she was patient with my anxious dog. She sent me 2 videos a day which helped me feel at ease. Great experience!”

“E'Ronda took great care of our 5 month old puppy! He came back super happy and had a bath, trimmed nails and a lot of confidence. E'Ronda was very flexible with my incorrect/changed drop off and pick up times and was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were very happy with everything!”

“Amy was great! Our dog was there for a week, it was our first time boarding with other dogs present and I was a little anxious. Amy made sure to send pictures and show how much fun Tater was having. Our trip was over a holiday so I was grateful for her flexibility. Drop off and pick up were easy. Thanks, Amy!”

“I had a truly wonderful experience with her taking care of Loki. She followed all of his feeding instructions carefully and maintained his routine very well. His meal timings were consistent, and I could tell he was eating comfortably and being looked after with attention. She also managed his walk times and daily activity in a very structured way. From the updates I received, it was clear that Loki was getting enough playtime, exercise, and rest throughout the day, which really helped him stay balanced and happy. What stood out most was the level of warmth and care she showed. The photos and videos she shared regularly showed Loki playing, interacting, and even making new friends. He looked very comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely happy in her home. In fact, the happiness and peace he was feeling were so clearly reflected in his face that it brought tears to my eyes. It truly felt like she made her home feel like a safe, peaceful space for him. Overall, I felt a strong sense of trust and comfort knowing Loki was with her. She didn’t just follow instructions—she genuinely cared for him, and it reflected in his behavior, his happiness, and his overall well-being. She is extremely reliable, caring, and truly excellent at what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
