About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from cats to big hunting dogs. My aunt has always had large dogs that weren’t always fully trained, so I’m used to handling strong and sometimes stubborn dogs (size anywhere from 15lbs (smallest) to roughly 100lbs). My girlfriend has a rescue pit bull (95 lbs.) who got comfortable with me really fast, and her dad has a German shepherd-husky mix (-75lbs) who’s very nervous and hesitant around people. I managed to earn his trust in a short time span as well. I’m especially good with big dogs and dogs that might be a bit protective or shy. I don’t mind if they need time to warm up; I actually enjoy figuring out how to make them feel safe and relaxed. What makes me different is that I’m really patient and I don’t force anything. I pay attention to how each dog feels and let them come to me at their own pace. People always tell me I have a natural way with animals, and I think that’s true because I really enjoy being around them and I respect their space. I love spending time with dogs, whether it’s going on a long walk, playing, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I try to make sure they feel happy and comfortable the whole time. I am prompt and communicative With drop ins, i can also do small extras like water your plants and bring in the mail. I'm fairly flexible on same day bookings and can be extra active for energetic dogs I am also happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m a student-athlete on the men's rowing team studying biology. I'm 6'7 and very active and love being outside, so going on long walks or playing with dogs fits perfectly into my routine. I’m free most afternoons and will be available all summer. I'm 22, and I’m from Denmark. I will be happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m very good with dogs of any size and personality. I’ve been around everything from big labs and hunting dogs to pit bulls and nervous rescues. Some of these dogs were very cautious or protective at first, but they usually warm up to me quickly. usually, within the same day. When I’m caring for a dog, whether it’s in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I respect their space, pay close attention to their body language, and let them come to me at their own pace. I always keep the environment calm and positive, and I focus on building trust from the start. I am also happy to discuss longer hikes, extra exercise and/or extra care for an additional fee

About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. I have a fenced back yard and a pet friendly lease for my apartment. While boarding I would put fragile valuables away securely in my loft.

“Thank you Valerie for looking after our Biscuit. It was Biscuit first time at Daycare and you did an amazing job making it easy for Biscuit to adjust. We will be in touch again for another Daycare day soon. God bless.”

I’m a stay at home mom who enjoys helping folks in my community care for their pets while they are away. I understand how comforting it is to have someone you can trust to take diligent care of your pet while you are gone. I will take the time to make it ‘life as normal’ for your pet while you are away. Not just rushing to get through the home check in, but giving them quality time, attention and care.

My home features a fully fenced, dog-friendly backyard with a doggie door leading from the deck to the yard — perfect for safe outdoor access. I live on a quiet, flat cul-de-sac in the Oakland Hills, ideal for peaceful walks. I also enjoy visiting nearby parks and hiking trails, many within walking distance, for fresh air and exercise with furry friends I have a fenced backyard dog and currently I do not have any dogs or pets of my own for the time being. I live in a safe, quiet and peaceful area. I do not require dogs to be crated.

“Luke is the real deal. He likes to get down and play with the dogs. He took incredible care of our pup, showering them with love, attention, and tons of playtime. Our dog was so happy and well-cared for—we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Highly recommend Luke to anyone looking for a trustworthy person to spoil their dog. If you want to add your dog’s name or any specific anecdotes about Luke’s care, let me know, and I can tailor it further!”

Daniela O.
“Daniela is amazing with dogs - especially ones with special needs. My dog Davey has pretty bad anxiety, especially in cars and around other dogs, but Daniela has a really calming presence that helps him feel safe. She’s watched him multiple times now, and every time he comes back happy and relaxed. What I really appreciate is that because she’s a full-time nurse (but works from home), she only takes one or two dogs at a time. That means she’s super attentive and gives each dog the care they need. I completely trust her with Davey and would recommend her to anyone.”
