About: I foster animals for rescues, I also own 4 dogs myself, from puppies to seniors. I can also take care of medically fragile animals. I am open to anything. I’m currently working part time so I will be pretty wide open to care for you furry friend. When I’m not working I’m taking care of my step son and my 5 dogs rather it be hiking, long sniff walks or fun games with the dogs. I also work on basic obedience every day. If you need I can work on sit, stay, wait, loose Leash walking. I will follow all your rules to keep your pets safe. I’m really knowledgeable about keeping animals safe. You won’t have to worry when in my care.

About: I have trained my dogs to press a button whenever they need to potty and many other basic tricks like “give me your paw” “spin” and “sit” I currently don’t have any other jobs at the moment, so I will have many hours taking care of your pet and a bunch of petting time. I have a secured backyard and 2 friendly english bulldogs that love playing with new friends. I will always be aside next to your pet keeping a close eye on them.

About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

About: First, let me say that I LOVE dogs! I grew up in a "dog house" with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I'm greatly experienced in walking, bathing sitting, vet visits, administering meds, etc. with most all breeds as I've worked for professional pet sitting/dog walking companies here in the LA area, as well as freelance pet care through friends and neighbors. I've also fostered dogs facing euthanization, until they're found permanent homes. I work part time as a personal assistant, so my schedule is very flexible, hence, your dog will never be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at most when in my care. Also, I enjoy to go king and jogging, and would love to take your pet with me!

About: Hello and thank you for visiting my Rover profile. I am a totally sane cat lady who also loves dogs too. I am not in the position to have a dog right now. So I would love to be able to hang out, play with, walk, and take care of your beloved fur baby. I would treat your pet as if they were my own and give the loving care and attention exactly to your specifications and needs. I grew up with dogs always in my house. I have experience with big and small dogs. When I was a child my parents had a giant dalmatian who I loved very much. We also had several other small dogs throughout the years. But since moving I have not been able to get a dog of my own. I do however have a cat who is my registered emotional support animal. His name is Odin and he is a gorgeous 12lb fluffy beast. So not only am I good with dogs, but I also know how to best interact with cats. I have experience as a volunteer for a cat lounge. Where people would book time to spend with dozens and dozens of cats available for adoption. I would help to integrate kittens and cats with their new temporary home until they are ready for adopting. I also have experience with being a foster to a very special street cat who followed me home and demanded to not be on the streets anymore. I was able to help her get a space in the cat lounge where she was very quickly adopted. It is one of my most proud moments being able to help a cat who just wanted to be loved find the perfect family. Beyond my animal experience... I am a musician/producer and own my own studio. I started as a singer/songwriter before I went to school to learn how to be an audio engineer and run a studio. I sing and play guitar and Odin is my #1 fan. Thank you for considering me as your next pet sitter and/or dog walker. Since I am new to this site my rates are lower than most others. I often have availability at short notice or the last minute so please don't hesitate to reach out. I will respond ASAP.

“Mary is a dog person. Some people are people who WORK with dogs and some are just dog PEOPLE. Mary is the type of caretaker that wants to see pictures of your pup and talk about them; in fact, she kinda puts the "care" in caretaker. I've left my dog with her numerous time while out of town and my dog had the best time with Mary - she has a super spacious home and a lot of love give the animals she looks after. I've recommended her to friends already who feel the same way. And the best part is that I never once worry when I'm out of town that everything is going to be ok because I know it is. Highly recommend!”

Cody is an absolutely wonderful dog walker. He’s easily become the highlight of Luna’s days whenever he’s stopped by; she can be a little difficult to handle at times due to her dog reactivity but Cody had no issues. Very communicative, always provided photos and comments after every walk, and I highly highly recommend his services should you ever need help with doggy care!

This is the second time I’ve booked Vanessa and she proved once again that she’s the best!! Holly adores her a lot as she truly takes care of Holly dearly. She gave thorough updates everyday during her time with Holly. She always goes above and beyond. Will definitely book her again! Thank you so much and we’ll see you soon Vanessa!

Maryan did an amazing job walking our dog Milo. She came to the rescue in such a short notice and put our worries to ease by having her walk our dog (australian shepherd merle). From the moment we had our meet and greet with Maryan we knew our dog was in great hands. Maryan was patient with Milo and ever so kind. She was always on time and very communicative. We look forward to having Maryan help with Milo's walks in the future. They Reyes Family

I have a large, nervous, rescue dog & Angel did great with her! He was patient during the introduction so she would feel comfortable. She tends to pull but he was able to manage her well & had her walk the full amount of time. Will definitely make this a daily walk for her. Highly recommend!
