“I Love Rebecca. My baby girl has taken to her so quickly. She is so sweet and has gone the extra mile to make sure I feel comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend her!!”

About: I know that finding someone to care for your dog can be a struggle, and the last thing you need when traveling or at a long day at work is to worry if your dog is safe and happy. Whether you need doggy day care, boarding, or someone to drop by and walk, play with, and feed you pup, you can be assured that your dog will get the VIP treatment and all the attention they deserve! I have been pet sitting for 15+ years, and I've always had dogs. My family had standard poodles since before I was born, and now I have my own 5 year old brown poodle, Marrón, who loves having dog friends over to visit. Dogs continuously amaze me with their intelligence and affection and I aim to return all of the love they give to us. Dogs continue to *train me* on how to respect and work with pups to help them be happy and well-adjusted. I understand that each dog is a unique individual, and I love learning the quirks and needs of each dog. I have studied dog behavior and training and use science-based positive reinforcement methods. My goal is to help dogs and humans work as a team. I am comfortable with a wide range of dogs, from puppy to full-grown, small to large, and all breeds. While pet sitting or dog walking, I can help give your dogs the socialization and exercise they need, making sure they work their brains as well as their bodies. I am also happy to support any obedience and habit training that you are working on. I know that a well-exercised puppy or dog is a happy puppy/dog, and so I'm here to help you and your dog be as happy as possible together All potential clients must set up a meet and greet to ensure that my dog Marrón and your pooch get along. He is high-energy and very social, so dogs who do not get along with other dogs would not be a good match. He does well with most dogs, and even if you're dog doesn't love to play, he is ok just co-existing. I do separate the dogs periodically throughout the day for downtime and feeding, but want to ensure that all dogs are comfortable and happy co-existing in the home together. (Please note: My doggie daycare price is for a standard 8-hour work day. For half days or extended hours longer than 8 hours, we will adjust the price accordingly). As a professor, I have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can adjust my schedule around the dogs in my care. I can board 1-2 dogs at my place both for overnight and for daytime "doggie day care." While I am home most of the day, I do sometimes leave for a couple of hours, so dogs need to be comfortable being left alone for brief periods of time, whether in the house or in a crate. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I do my best to help dogs feel comfortable and like to know what rules and routines they are used to at home, so I can provide that here. I will provide the appropriate walks, exercise, and activities for your pup. Marrón is very active so we go on at least 2 long walks a day and to the dog park in our complex. See my description of a "typical day" for what that can look like. I live in a duplex, so while my house is not huge, it is set up for maximum dog fun and safety. I can gate off each room to give dogs their own space, and I tend to do so periodically during the day to give them breaks from playing and to let them eat and nap in peace. (For example, my poodle Marrón sometimes needs some alone time in order to transition from playtime to chill time. Often younger puppies will keep asking for more play, even when they're tired) I have a fenced-in backyard which we use as a play space and for potty breaks. Dogs are never left out there unattended as I don't like leave dogs outside without human supervision. I do not take more than 2 dogs at a time, and only when I know that they will get along. So your dog will get lots of attention. If your dog is crate trained I can set your crate up in my house in my bedroom or in my living room, based on your preference. I also have two crates that I can set up for your dog if they are comfortable in crates other than their own.

About: I am a dog lover first and foremost. I have owned and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I am experienced with both small and large dogs, young and old. Currently I have an Alaskan Malamute 2.5years old named Zero and a 6 year old shorkie named Panda. They both play well with others and will definitely enjoy the company. I work from home, which allows me to give your baby the attention needed. You can call me anytime for updates on how your dog is doing or even if you need me to send pictures. My large fenced back yard will provide enough room for exercise, play and potty time . I have two kids, a boy, 16years old and a girl, 13years old that also love dogs as much as I do. When they are not at school and are at home, they love helping out. With a watchful eye, I can assure you they will give your precious doggie the same love and attention as I would. They are used to being around small and large dogs and caring for them. We do have plenty open safe trails around, if walking your pet is needed. Give me a chance, you would not be disappointed! I work from home and I’m pretty flexible. I am available to give your baby the attention they need . They are not just pets they are family . I have a large secure fenced in backyard to keep your baby entertained and ability to get some energy out . If the weather is bad they will be in house with AC and fans as needed.

“Asia was able to take my girl last minute and was very nice about the whole experience (especially with me being late for drop off!) I received video and pictures during the stay. Braell came home so happy and tired from playing the whole day which is exactly what I was hoping for. 10/10, would book with Asia again!”

“John took amazing care of my dog while I went sightseeing! John has a lot of enrichment for energetic dogs and space for them to roam, have fun, and be comfortable! My dog is more chill and was able to have space in a large crate to relax.”

“Juniasly is awesome! She took time with my pup and was really great with her! She helped my puppy upend up to other animals and made her really comfortable. She is definitely gifted with animals!”

About: I would love to take care of your pet baby! I work from home and have a house and fenced in yard for them to enjoy. The neighborhood is also a great place for walks and my home is already very pet friendly as we have an older westi poo here also. Your dog ( or dogs!) will be the only guests besides our own family and pets! Although I can’t board cats, I love them too and have been a cat owner my whole life. I would love to do drop ins for your cat as needed. You can use this code also if you are new to Rover to get $20 off! HEATHM09255, https://www.rover.com/sit/heathm09255 My schedule is very flexible but I do work from home full time. The longest I would be away from the home would be one hour during the day and two hours during an overnight. I am available for pet sitting, boarding, and drop ins are no problem! I can also do pet walking depending on your pets needs. If your dog is aggressive then that may not be the best fit for our home or for a drop in. I have a fenced in yard and have been a responsible pet owner for over 20 years. I have taken care of lots of different types of doggies ( and cats!) over the last 20 plus years. Your pet will never be outside ( even in our back yard) without supervision :) I have experience with drop in care also, and I deliver what I promise.

About: Hi, I'm Lil Miss - writing for the human, Adam. He thinks he runs this household but let's be real. We live in a great duplex with a great fenced-in yard! We're excited to have slumber parties and go on neighborhood walks and go to the dog park - and I'll even share some of my treats! I do great with other doggos and love to play. I am naturally a herder but love getting to know other pups with my human. We can go on walks and car rides, too! Daily routine consistent, as Lil Miss loves routine. The home is free range but we can incorporate your crate, should your dog need it. We go on 1 walk in the neighborhood every day and try to hit up a local dog park when it's not too hot or wet outside. Lil Miss is a free range eater but we'll make sure both doggos eat at the same time. My work schedule is sporadic but allows me to be home during the day, more often than not. We have a great fenced-in yard and can crate your dog, in your crate, if necessary. Lil Miss does well when hanging out with other dogs in the home and we have extra beds and toys to share!

About: I love all animals! I have two senior dogs and a cat of my own at home. I've lived with a dog my whole life. I have been described as a dog whisperer by many friends for my knack of gaining a dog's trust very quickly. My first cat came in 2016 and I soon after became a cat lover. I typically have late afternoon to evening availability during the week and am completely free during the weekends for pet care. I occasionally have early afternoon availability during the week as well. I am available for overnight sitting and boarding. If your home is outside of my direct service area I do adjust my rates to account for additional time and travel. I am completely comfortable accommodating any\all pet care requests within reason. Whether that be letting your pet out in the yard for exercise/bathroom breaks, letting dogs/cats in and out of crates/bedrooms to eat or roam around for awhile. I'm also happy to just keep your pet company for the time I am with it, from petting to playing fetch or tug-of-war or just peacefully co-existing.

“We brought our pup to Juliana for daycare and she was great! Very communicative before and during our dog’s stay. We felt comfortable leaving him in her care and would definitely reach out to her again in the future :)”

Abbie B.
“Abbie's biggest passion is dogs. She has her own rescued hound mix whom she absolutely adores. She's watched and walked our dog on multiple occasions and we can always rest assured that he will be well taken care of. She can handle watching and walking multiple dogs at a time and never gets overwhelmed. She has previous work experience with dog care, and she has taken in foster dogs on numerous occasions to give them a second chance at life. She has a great knowledge of dog health issues, for example, knowing what to look out for on a hot summer day to keep pets safe, etc. All around, know that Abbie will care for your fur baby like they are one of her own!”

North Charleston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Asia did a great job taking care of my giant puppy! Bluey had a great time playing with Asia and her dog. He was clearly relaxed and happy at her place. She sent multiple photos throughout the day, which was nice. Bluey came home tired and happy. We will definitely work with Asia going forward.

Lifesavers! I work a pretty demanding job and don’t have the capacity to play/entertain a puppy I’m fostering all day so I found Ren and Kelsey and they took a last minute booking for Coop. At about 4 months old with a rough past, he has some quirks and Ren/Kelsey were very understanding. I could tell they know a lot about dog behavior and love hosting doggy day care. Coop is exhausted after playing all day & I could not be happier!
