About: With over 400 hours of volunteer service at my local animal shelter, two years of hands-on internship experience at the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter, and countless hours spent pet sitting a wide variety of animals—from horses to hamsters—I have developed a deep understanding of animal care and behavior. My diverse background has taught me how to respond to the unique needs of each animal, whether it's providing comfort, administering care, or simply offering companionship. This combination of formal training, volunteer service, and real-world experience makes me a dedicated, responsible, and knowledgeable caretaker who will treat your pet like family. Taking care of animals is part of my everyday life. I start with my own pets—feeding, walking, and giving them some love. Then I head out for pet sitting and dog walking jobs. Every day’s a mix of walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure each pet feels safe and cared for. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make it a priority to meet every animal’s individual needs—whether that means administering specific veterinary care or simply offering comfort, play, and companionship. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and health requirements. For some, that might involve giving medications on schedule, managing special diets, or monitoring for specific health concerns. For others, it could be making sure they get plenty of playtime, long walks, or just quiet snuggles on the couch. I always strive to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment, treating every pet as if they were my own.

“Frances is wonderful! She’s incredibly responsive and flexible. We have a high energy, large pup that is still requiring a lot of leash training - Frances jumped right in to help continue that work! Also really love all the cute photos we get. Our pup loved her right away and can’t wait for another visit! Definitely recommend!”

About: I have experience with a wide range of dogs, ranging from Mastiffs to Maltipoos. I started independently watching dogs when I was about 11. Growing up, my family had Boxers (a higher energy breed) and French Mastiffs (a lower energy breed). Living with these dogs, I gained experience when it comes to understanding preferences, triggers, and personality. I have experience caring for older dogs (one being 19 years old!) and knowing how to give medications when needed. I also have experience caring for puppies (10 weeks+) and understanding training and behavioral methods. I am comfortable with larger breeds, medium breeds, and smaller breeds! I am currently going to back to school, so I am looking for work that fits in with my school schedule. My current schedule is as follows: Monday: 7am - 4pm Tuesday: 7am - 8pm Wednesday: 7am - 8pm Thursday: 7am - 4pm Friday: 7am - 8pm Saturday: 8am - 8pm Sunday: 8am - 8pm I am calm and comfortable around new dogs. I know that may not be the case for the dog when a stranger comes into their home. I have experience with more shy dogs and in order to gain trust and familiarity, I've found that spending time in their space without forcing them to interact, works best. I also like to try to give them treats so they know I'm not there to harm them. Making sure they have enough water is also important, as well as sufficient time outside (whether in a backyard, front yard, deck, or a walk). If they want play or belly scratches, I'm open to it all.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, but what really sets me apart is the hands-on experience I gained caring for my family’s Bernese Mountain Dog who had mobility challenges. Through that, I learned to be incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive—especially with dogs who need a little extra support and understanding. I’m very comfortable with large breed dogs (100+ lbs) and know how to handle them with confidence and care. Whether it’s helping them up and down stairs, supporting them on walks, or just giving them space and structure, I know what they need to feel safe and loved. I’m also experienced with: • Senior dogs who need slower paces and extra comfort • Puppies who are learning the ropes—crate training, house training, and basic boundaries Every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take pride in adapting my care style to match. Whether your dog loves playtime or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll be there to give them the attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities—and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and notes along the way! I currently work a full time job that is mostly work from home, with the exception of one day in office. I’m usually up early in the morning for workout classes and am able to pop in for feedings and walks in the morning or afternoon. I usually am fairly open in the evenings as well during the week and would be able to help out then as well. I usually stay local on the weekends so I should be available as needed depending on my schedule that week. I’m happy to feed, walk, and play with your dog. I love animals and we can discuss whatever your pet needs to feel safe, taken care of, and at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Sydnie! I’m a passionate animal care professional with over 8 years of experience as a veterinary technician, working hands-on with dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, and exotic species. My background includes medical care, behavioral handling, and emergency support for pets of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I’ve spent years around equines and large animals, and I absolutely love building trust with animals through gentle, confident, and respectful care. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy, a senior dog needing medication, or a quirky exotic pet, I bring professional-level knowledge and a calm, loving presence to every visit. I’m reliable, intuitive, and treat every pet as if they’re my own. I’d be honored to care for your furry (or scaly!) family member. I work evenings from 4 p.m. to 1–2 a.m., so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, feeding, medication, or sitting between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. If you’re located near Newport Beach, I may also be available during my lunch break for quick visits or walks. My life truly revolves around pet care, and I take great pride in being someone both animals and pet parents can rely on. Whether it’s early mornings, mid-day check-ins, or even late-night medication or feedings, I’m committed to being flexible, responsive, and dependable for your pet’s unique needs. When I enter your home, my goal is to create a calm, respectful, and safe environment for your pet. I’m highly mindful of body language, behavior cues, and energy, especially during first-time visits. I adjust my approach based on the pet’s comfort level — whether that means moving slowly, speaking gently, or matching their energy to build trust. I understand that every pet has their own boundaries and needs, and I give them space when needed, while still being warm, reassuring, and attentive. As a vet tech with over 8 years of experience, I’m confident in handling pets of all temperaments, and I know how to read subtle signs of stress or discomfort. I’m familiar with basic commands and can reinforce any training you’re working on. I always follow your instructions to the letter when it comes to your pet’s routine, feeding, and home care, because I understand how important consistency and structure are to their well-being.

About: An animal lover since I can remember, nothing makes me happier than making animals happy. It brings me so much joy to make sure your dog has a great day when you're not able to be there. Growing up with all different kinds of animals has been a blessing. I am very knowledgeable in caring for dogs and will take amazing care of yours. I had my first dog when I was a baby, we grew up together as our birthdays were 10 days apart. I grew to love dogs and appreciate them for who they are-- amazing and intelligent creatures. I always ask myself how humans got so lucky. Unconditional love and support as long as we treat them right, what more can we ask for. I recently rescued my dog Zelda over two years ago and raising her has been such an incredible experience. Dogs are my passion and I can't wait to meet yours! I currently do have a full time job but I would love to spend my free time caring for your fur babies! Always looking to meet new clients! I can take them on a neighborhood walk, to the local park, wherever they prefer! If they want to stay home for a visit, we can play with toys and try to learn some new tricks!

“Sarah has been the best dog walker we've ever had. She accomadated for us last minute and was so attentive. We appreciate you Sarah and will be using you for all our future walks.”
