About: Hi, I’m Britt — a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter. I had my sweet pup Abbie for 10 wonderful years, and since her recent passing, I’ve deeply missed having a dog around. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, but I’d love to share my home and heart with your pup in the meantime. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless friends’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I work remotely (as does my partner), so your dog will have constant company, attention, and care. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a spacious yard that’s fully enclosed with double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play and lounging in the sun. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the extra patience and TLC they may need. Whether your pup is energetic or a couch cuddler, they’ll be treated like family here. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to hear about your dog and how I can help! Right now, I’m freelancing remotely through November — my main job runs from November to June, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and work from home full-time. That means your pup will rarely be left alone and can expect lots of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for daytime care, overnights, or longer stays depending on your needs! I’m currently in a pet-free home, so your dog will get all the attention without the stress of sharing space with other animals. I live in a cozy New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your dog’s needs — whether they like their own space or prefer to be close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s great for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. While this profile is just for me, my partner is also home full-time and a calm, animal-loving presence. He’s especially patient with dogs who may be shy or nervous around men. I’m happy to accommodate crate training, medication, or any specific routines to help your pup feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

I understand how much trust it takes to let someone care for your animal, so I treat every pet I meet with the same care, love, and attention I gave my own. Whether it’s daily walks, feedings, check-ins, or just keeping them company, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and most of all - happy! Pet care is a big part of what I do, so I reserve time on weekdays for morning and evening walks or drop-ins. To keep pets safe and comfortable during the summer I don’t offer midday walks, but I do offer drop-ins for indoor play and enrichment or mid day exercise in the yard (if available and weather permitting). Every pet is different so I make sure to ask questions and understand your pets needs so that there is as little disruption to their schedule and daily rhythms as possible.
