About: I grew up with dogs and I had my own until he grew old. I guess you could say that I have a lifetime of experience. Because my own dog’s passing was so heart breaking, I can’t bring myself to get another at this time so I enjoy getting my dog fill in through Rover. I am from Louisiana and I have lived in New Orleans for 8 years. I consider myself very reliable and responsible. So far, I have had great experiences with Rover. I can't wait to meet your dog(s)! I’m currently working part-time so I have a lot of spare time to devote to pet care. When pet sitting, I usually spend most of my time at home with the pet. I currently do not have any pets so pets that I sit will have my full attention. I do have a backyard and a walkable neighborhood.

About: I've had pets since I was a pre-teen, and recently I've been a rescue foster for dogs & cats for the past 2 years, so I have cared for many animals, many with behavioral issues. I have two rescue pitbulls and two rescue cats of my own. I have been working from home as a nonprofit contractor & artist. Although I do not have a car, I am able to bop around town via bike I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who would love to keep your doggy company. I also have a large crate in a separate front room if they need their own space.

About: I am a flexible, reliable dog owner and lover. I understand the amount of energy dogs can have, and I work to meet their individual needs. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality. I am available many days of the week to take care of your babies while you are away at work. I also have an older dog with special needs, so I am understanding of dogs with disabilities or medical needs, and I know how scary it can be to leave your senior dogs with someone new. I am available to take your dog on plenty of walks through out the day to ensure that they are getting the exercise and attention they need. I have taken care of dogs for many years and I understand how important they are to a family, so I strive to treat everyone's dog as my own. I have toys and leashes and treats so that all my dogs have a great time, and to make drop off and pick up easy on the owners! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available according to your dog's regular routine and needs. I like to stick to the dog's regular routine as closely as possible. I like to learn about the dog and it's owner so that I understand their usual routine, so that we can stick to what they are used to as closely as possible to minimize seperation anxiety and prevent any schedule disruptions.

“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

About: I lost my own dog, Maika, a few years ago. She was 14 years old but it was way too early … I’m not ready to get a new dog myself, so Rover has been perfect. I moved to New Orleans a few years ago from Minnesota, where I was also an active member of Rover. My partner, Jonathan, and I bought a house that was built in 1909 — originally as an outdoor market in Holy Cross. It’s now a huge open space attached to a large fenced in yard. Dogs love it!. The dogs hang with me and I usually leave the door open to the back yard, which is basically a mini park with several fruit trrees. The neighborhood itself is also wonderful, there’s a large open field that is fenced in, I a great place for playing fetch or chasing frisbees. The levee is also perfect for long morning or evening walks. I''m a writer and work from home, so having a pup or two around is a real pleasure. I often take the dogs on walks or runs along the levee. But there’s also plenty of space in the house in yard if they just want to chill at home. Usually I work and puddle about doing arts and crafts and doggy's tag behind. The yard has both sunny spots and nice shade… Perfect for the pups.
