About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life and always had a hand in caring, training, and making sure they were happy! My wife tells me I have golden retriever energy so I can get along with any dog! School therapist off for July and August. I can be available from 6 am to 5 pm on weekdays. When I'm not looking after my only dog, I'll be happy to look after yours! As someone with a dog who gets nervous when on her leash, I have learned the required skills to make sure your dog's walk is stress-free and safe! I make sure to bring lots of treats on walks and use positive reinforcement to help my own dog feel more confident and comfortable on walks. I will use the same gentle guidance with your dog as well!

“Cat did a fantastic job with our 3 cats. Since this was our first time using Rover, Cat addressed all of our questions, and took special care in her communications with us. . Due to a medical condition, one cat needed 3 different pills twice a day. While initially meeting with Cat, we saw our cats have positive interactions with her, leaving us with a good feeling. Cat kept to our strict medicine and feeding schedule, checking in every time with personal updates on each cat and sending plenty of pictures. She cleaned up the litter box, as well as a random puking incident, even asking how to clean fabrics. We can't thank her enough for making our first Rover experience an incredibly positive one. We'd definitely recommend her to friends and family, as well as using her again ourselves.”

About: I have pet and house-sat every summer since I started college. I am very thorough and want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible. I have worked with anxious dogs, big dogs, stand-offish cats, and generally "problematic" pets. I know that pets thrive on routine so I try and gather as much information on the pet's normal day to emulate that and keep the pet comfortable. I can be as active or chill as needed so your pet can have a good time! I am currently a Ph.D. student at BU. Classes are starting in September and I have weekends free. Once classes start, I would prefer to pet sit on weekends and days I won't be in class (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). Keeping your pet safe is my top priority! I have pet-sat many runners and know to keep a watchful eye and strong grip on leashes when out and about. I love taking dogs to dog parks and am not afraid of getting dirty and having fun with your pet! I’m currently not taking classes and have a work from home research program. I can be very flexible with days and times of day. I prefer to work during the weekdays but can really make any time work. I take extra care with pets in my home. I have pet proofed my environment to make sure there is nothing laying about that is unsafe for pets.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong, hands on experience with both dogs and cats. I’ve owned pets my entire life, including those that were fully house trained as well as those that needed more attention and patience. In addition to caring for my own animals, I’ve dogsat for friends and family over the years, which has given me experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and routines. I'm comfortable handling pets with different energy levels and needs, whether it’s giving extra attention to a senior pet or helping keep a young pup on track. My approach is always calm, consistent, and caring; treating every pet as if they were my own. I work full, but that does not stop me from caring for animals. I have taken care of various pets while being a full time student. My week nights and weekends are always open to be fully involved with your pet! I always have a watchful eye, having years in experience as a camp counselor and having to make sure young ones stay safe. I also am patient with animals and understand for both of us to be safe, we must be respectful to each other.

About: I had the absolute joy of growing up with a golden retriever who was my best friend for 10 wonderful years. I cared for him from his playful puppy days all the way through his senior years, which gave me hands-on experience with every stage of a dog’s life—from potty training and puppy zoomies to gentle care and patience in his older years. There are two doors that you need to enter before you get into my apartment, which means it would be hard for any elopers to escape incase they were able to sneak through my door on accident. While I do not have a backyard, I am so super close to the beach and love to take walks there.
