“Thank you so much, Barbara, for taking care of Allo! Barbara is a responsible cat sitter, very respectful of our apartment, takes care of our cat well (food, water, kitty litter clean up) and even went the extra mile as to lightly tidy up and water our plants as well. Our cat, Allo, is very shy with strangers but Barbara took the extra time and patients to get Allo’s trust and was eventually able to pet her while we are gone. Thank you so much again!”

“Thomas was fantastic at caring for our Bengal cat while we were away. Our cat is not used to being alone, and Thomas made sure to stay for a bit to keep him company, play and give him pets. He went above and beyond when ants got into the house chasing our cat’s food. Will definitely book again!”

“Michele was great with my cat. Came everyday as scheduled and sent pictures. She kept him company while he ate and then played with him. Nice to have someone that understands cats. Will use her again.”

“Jenna H. was exceptional! She sent thorough updates and I could tell by the pictures that my cat was her normal, happy self with Jenna. Seeing how happy she was took a lot of the worry away. Thank you Jenna!”

“Caroline took care of our two Ragdoll cats via morning drop-in visits while we were out of town for a week. I am so thrilled with the care that our kitties received! Each day she diligently left us Rover cards with photographs and let us know exactly what she did to care for them (food, water, affection, play, litterbox). She is extremely reliable and conscientious and it is clear that she truly loves animals. We came home to two happy, well cared for cats with plenty of food, fresh water, and a clean litterbox. We couldn’t be happier and we would welcome Caroline back to our home anytime! Definitely hire her, your pets will be in great hands. Thank you, Caroline!”

“Candy took care of our cat while we were away in Japan for nine days. Even though I goofed the start/end date because of time changes, Candy was flexible and was sure to take care of my fur fattie on the days I needed. Candy sends photos every day and updates on your pet's health and behavior. Super reliable, recommended.”

About: A large grassy area in front of the house on a cul de sad, several dog beds, dog-friendly neighborhood walks,...ideal for a fun pet overnight stay. I do not currently have my own dog but sometimes may take 2 dogs at one time. I study massage and dog psychology. Dogs who love touch or massages will get plenty of attention. It is a house with a yard, not an apartment. The yard is not completely fenced, so I use a leash 100% of the time until I know the dog very well, since there are sometimes birds and squirrels making appearances. Dogs spend a lot of time outside with me, weather permitting. Your dog will not spend time outside alone because it's just more fun to be together. About this sitter: I raised two Scottish Terrier litter-mates from puppy-hood and have cared for dogs and cats in their homes, dogs in my home for months at a time, and I enjoy walking dogs. I am soft-spoken and very patient. Shy, or sensitive/scared pets often feel comfortable around me pretty quickly. Pets should have joy in their lives so I enjoy giving them extra attention to help alleviate some of the stress when their owners are away. For overnight care at a clients' home, I like to stay as light and self-contained as possible. I'm in this for the love of pets and like to leave as little a footprint as possible! Experience includes: dog owner, cat owner, dog sitting for over 15 different dogs and 4 different cats (up to 6 dogs simultaneously or combo of 2 dogs/2 cats who were housemates). Why I love dog sitting: I made my first dog friend when I was 6 years old. Lalli was a seeing-eye school drop out and the sweetest dog I'd ever met. My aunt already had 2 cats that I loved by that point. I ended up helping a senior dog get past her separation anxiety and she and her folks gained more freedom. About my yard: Large grassy area in front of the house. Dog park nearby with well behaved friendly neighborhood dog regulars. My experience administering oral medication: I have done it and I will do it if a pet is not a biter or scratcher. I cared for 2 dogs during their hospice. I am open to doing that, at least to help provide respite for the primary caretakers. I am free to spend time with your dogs and/or house sit anytime except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 7pm. Dogs that stay overnight with me will have a day sitter and dog company during the day. I am willing to accept stays longer than one week but we must discuss first to see if my system works for your animals. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park nearby and a large grassy area. I have an afternoon sunning deck, and plan potty breaks every 2-3 hours. Mini-massages and indoor play breaks are available throughout the day between dog naps.

About: I have had pets my whole life and learned to take care of them at a young age. I started pet sitting for neighbors when I was 13 and I immediately loved it. I would love the opportunity to meet your cute critter! I am currently a college student but I am on my break so my schedule is very flexible. I am available on weekdays and Sundays. I currently have a dog I take care of. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I also have an indoor cat I care for and have previously watched an outdoor cat so I am familiar with cat care.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and honestly can’t imagine life without one. My dog Walter is a 4-year-old miniature poodle, he’s super friendly, easygoing, and gets along great with other dogs. Over the years, I’ve picked up a lot about helping dogs feel calm, safe, and settled at home just by being around them. I work from home most days, so your dog will have company and attention throughout the day. I’m usually free on weekends and most weekdays after 2pm, so I can easily work around your dog’s routine. I live in a calm, dog-friendly apartment with no kids, and Walter’s great with other dogs, cats and animals in general. I always try to stick with whatever your dog’s used to, whether that’s crate training, feeding times, or any routines they already know. The goal is to keep things easy and stress-free for them. Jennifer F.
“Jennifer is truly a gem. She has come through for me on many occasions when I needed a last minute dog-sitter and whenever I pick up my dog afterwards he always seems to have had at least as much fun as I did on my trip. When Ozzie stays with Jen, he always gets tons of attention. They go on long walks, trips to the dog park and sometimes even the beach (with prior permission from me, of course). In short Jen treats my pup with as much love and attention as if he were her own. I cannot recommend her highly enough. [My name is Ozzie and I approve this message. woof woof!]”

Scarlett S.
“Scarlett has taken beautiful care of my pets (a dog and a cat) and they look forward to her visits. She is a friendly and conscientious worker and I would highly recommend her.”
