About: Often taken care of dogs in all sizes. From small poodle to Australian Shepherd. When friends or family are out of town, my responsibility will be walking and feeding the dogs. I’m currently working a full-time job but will have time after 5pm on weekdays. During weekends, I will be mostly available and prefer to be scheduled ahead. I would like to discuss with the client about the area in the house that the pet usually feels comfortable to stay in and keep the pet away from restricted area if there is any. Also, it would be great to know if there is any common area that the pet can go for small stretches like front/back yard.

About: Hey there! I'm new to Rover, but I'm definitely not new to caring for pets! To help build trust and get to know this amazing community, I’m offering a special discounted rate for my first three months on Rover (until 9/15/25). Happy to do a meet and greet first, just reach out ;) I’ve been caring for cats for 4 years and live in LA with my British Shorthair (his name is Tomas!) As a cat mom, I understand how special (and particular!) cats can be. I’m great at respecting their space, giving them love when they want it, and making sure they feel safe and happy. Whether your fur baby is playful or prefers a quiet companion, I’ve got it covered. I'm usually free on weekends, and weekdays after 6pm work well for me too. My schedule can be flexible, and I’m happy to work around what suits you best! Tomas (my cat) lives with me and my husband in a single family home with a backyard. He is a bit shy and really enjoys having the place to himself. Because of that, I don’t usually host other furry friends here. I’m not offering boarding at the moment, but I’m open to it in the future depending on how things go.

“Sylvia was an absolute lifesaver! I needed a last-minute drop in visit for Artemis and she responded immediately! She was professional, reliable, and caring, making sure that Artemis was well-fed, entertained, and comfortable while I was away. She even sent me updates and photos during the visit, and I felt completely at ease knowing my little guy was in such great hands. I will definitely book with her again!”

About: Lived in a multi-dog household for over 15 years providing care to pups of all ages (newborn puppies to seniors). Experienced in puppy care, senior care, medication administration, and rescue pups needing a little extra attention as they're getting adjusted to their new furrever homes. Although I don't personally provide training, I've had experience in going through training for our own pups and can support in maintaining the training that you have already in place. Guests are provided with care full-time. I'm available throughout the week and are generally flexible with pick up and drop off times. Though there may be some slight adjustments to the our daily routine, a general idea of our schedule for boarding consists of.. 6:30am potty break and playtime 7am breakfast and continued playtime 8:30am lounge/nap time Potty breaks every 3-4 hours 12:00pm -2:00pm Afternoon playtime some time during this time frame if the weather permits 5:30pm-7:00pm dinner around this time frame Evening play until 7:30pm-8pm 11:00pm for a final potty break We live in a fenced home that is double gated with a large spacious backyard. Guests are only allowed outside when there is human supervision. Guests are welcome to wrestle and play chase; however, if we do see there is an escalation in energy levels then we do a quick reset and separate guests for several minutes before returning to a lower energy of play behavior.

“Jayme was a great cat sitter! She was very communicative & reliable. She also administered oral medication to one of my cats. I would definitely recommend her services.”

About: Hi there! My name is Michele, and I understand how important it is to find reliable caretakers you can trust. I approach dogs with care and kindness, and I pay attention. I prioritize following your instructions and making sure your dog is comfortable and safe with me. I have a deep history as a dog owner. My mom had a knack for picking up strays and taking in fosters, so I have been providing dog care my whole life. I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.

“Kimmy was so great with my two cats! They loved her and she went above and beyond playing with them, cleaning their litter box, making sure their food and water was topped off and on top of that she helped make sure they were safe (as my little one tried to chew on my corkboard)! She kept the space clean and always gave me daily updates which I so appreciated! Amazing sitter and highly recommend!”

“I’m so grateful for the amazing care Amanda provided for my cat during the drop-in visit. She stayed for 1 hour and 47 minutes—even though it was only supposed to be a 60 minute visit! That really shows how much she cares. She made sure my cat was fed, had clean water, cleaned the litter box, and spent quality time playing and comforting her. I received thoughtful updates and cute photos that gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and truly dedicated pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been living with and taking care of my four cats for the past few years, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like feeding, scooping the litter box, cleaning up small messes, and giving medication when needed. I’ve learned how to gently trim their nails, understand their moods, and respect their space—especially for shy or picky cats. I know every cat is different, and I always try to make them feel safe and cared for. I’ve also helped friends and neighbors with their pets when they travel. I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and can care for your cat in the afternoons and evenings during weekdays, and most times on weekends. “Xiuwen is a truthfully pet lover. As the mom of Tomas, who is a 5 years old cat, she always remembers to feed him on time with enough food and play with him with his favorite toy to make him enjoyable everyday when she is available. Additionally, she grooms Tomas periodically to help reducing the number of cat vomiting his hairball. Tomas really likes her, so does other lovely pets of my friends, who will occasionally comes and visit her place. She treats other pets the same as her "son" Tomas, spreading the same love and time on them. Not only she takes good care of cats, but also doggy too. She had been having a dog for couple years before coming to U.S. I would suggest Xiuwen as pet caregiver if you have such need. :)”

We are so grateful that Lexy was our cat’s sitter for 2 weeks! It was our first time using a cat sitter, so we didn’t know what to expect. She helped us feel at ease after she came over for a meet and greet, and asked us detailed questions and took a lot of notes. While it was difficult to be away from our cat for 2 weeks, we trusted Lexy to provide the attention and care that our cat needed. Our cat seemed to enjoy Lexy’s company and got comfortable with her early on. Lexy was very flexible, dependable, and communicative throughout the entire process. We enjoyed the frequent, detailed updates and photos/videos during her drop in visits. She took some amazing photos and videos of our cat that we will cherish! We strongly recommend Lexy as a pet sitter, and we plan on using her in the future when needed.

Sylvia was an absolute lifesaver! I will definitely book with her again!

Amy has always been such an incredible help for all of my critters! She goes above and beyond keeping up with everyone’s food and water, and even came to a training session with my nervous dog to help continue his training on walks. Amy cares so much and has brought extra treats for my pets for holidays or just because. She has been so sweet and I will miss her when I move out of state!
