“Julianne is a great sitter and her space is absolutely perfect for active dogs like mine who love to run around. She’s always quick to respond to any messages and my dog seemed to have an amazing time, she was so relaxed when I picked up her which is rare. Would absolutely book with her again!”

“Laura was so amazing with our dog. She provided so many updates and pictures. We have a nervous dog and needed someone that understood how to care for a dog with anxiety. In the updates she sent, we saw how comfortable our pup was with her to the point she was sleeping belly up and at ease. She took her on walks and adventures and did all the enrichment activities Evie needed. I would 100 percent trust her with my dog. Book her. She’s amazing.”

“We had such a great experience with Adolfo! He took care of our two dogs, Ozzy (9) and Jessie (1), for a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. He took them on walks, played with them, made sure they were fed, and even gave them their vitamins. Adolfo also kept us updated with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief knowing our dogs were happy, safe, and being well taken care of. We were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing Ozzy and Jessie were in such a positive and caring place. We highly recommend Adolfo and would definitely trust him with our dogs again!”

“Janelle and her partner go above and beyond to make your pets feel happy and at home with them! My two pups had a fun and cozy time at their place. When I forgot to bring my senior dog’s bed with him, they ran out and bought him a new bed! We are beyond grateful for these two, they will care for your pets like they’re their own!”

“Rika was a fantastic pet sitter! My dog had a blast at her house. She sent me detailed updates on how my dog was doing, along with amazing pictures (they were honestly better than the ones I’ve taken myself). She truly took great care of my dog. I will 100% rebook her the next time I need a pet sitter. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate her for this boarding. Thank you, Rika!”

“Home looks secure with tall wooden fencing- nice for a larger dog. Shu Ting sent many photos everyday as updates. Was nice to see that our Dali was doing just fine while we were away. Shu Ting was also great in accommodating an extra night for us. We had originally talked about extending our stay and then cancelled before we left, then on our ‘last day’ we were able to extend our trip one more night and she was ok with taking care of our Dali another night last minute. We will definitely request future bookings when needed. Thx so much:)”

“Lisa and her family were wonderful! She kept us posted with pictures every day and was very accommodating when our dog was a little shy around the other dogs. We will definitely be back!”

“We booked Hilary last minute because our usual sitter became unavailable. We had a trip to Italy planned, and I was so stressed to leave Pebbles somewhere new while being out of the country, but HILARY WAS AMAZING!! We fell in love with the way she cared for Pebbles instantly. She had no problem with her feeding times, walks, crate needs, and even eye medication. She sent us SO MANY fun and cute pictures of Pebbles while we were out of the country that I felt super reassured. She was flexible with the pick up time (we know how LAX can be), and even willing to take an additional emergency contact while we were out of country. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anyone kinder, more loving, or more communicative. I will definitely request her again, and I am so glad Pebbles found a temporary home there. Thank you for everything!”

“Stephanie was awesome, she took Izaiah on walks and outings. He got to socialize with Stephanie’s puppy. She kept constant communication and sent picture updates throughout the time she had him. Would definitely reccommend.”

This was the second time she has watched our dog, and once again, the experience was excellent. We truly appreciate the care and attention she provides!”

About: Hi, I’m Steven— a retired restaurant manager who brings the same level of responsibility, consistency, and attention to detail to pet care. I’m calm, patient, and dependable, which helps dogs feel safe and relaxed with me. I already dogsit most of the year, and many of my regular clients encourage me to open up more availability on Rover so more owners can benefit from the care I provide. I do especially well with dogs who prefer steady routines, gentle handling, and clear communication. Whether your dog is energetic or more laid-back, I focus on providing reliable, attentive care and making sure they feel comfortable and well looked after at all times. For boarding and day care, your loved one would be staying in a dog-free fenced-in home, allowing for a calm, low-stress environment and more individualized attention. I only provide care for one family at a time. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I’m retired and have very open availability. I don’t juggle other work commitments, so your pet’s schedule becomes my schedule. This allows me to be flexible with feeding times, walks, medication needs, and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to give pets the attention and consistency they deserve rather than fitting them in between other obligations. Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Certified. Your loved one is unique, so I always tailor my care to specific needs and routines. In your home or out, I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and comfort habits so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep a calm, low-stress environment and prioritize safety at all times — secure double doors, careful leash handling, and close supervision during walks and play. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of my own cats for about 15 years. Neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their cat family members. In addition to the basic routine of feeding, litter box cleaning, and playtime with cats. I have cared for an older cat who needed crushed medication mixed into their food. I am aware that some cats need a specific routine and believe that owners know their cats best.

“Alvin is the best cat sitter we’ve ever had! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared for our cat like his own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty and got regular updates while we were away, which gave us great peace of mind. Highly recommend Alvin to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive”

About: Cats are unknowable, uncanny, and mysterious, and I do not pretend to know their minds. I do, however, know how to scoop their litter boxes, feed them, tidy their spaces, approach them with the appropriate respect, and even administer insulin shots if needed. I was the primary caretaker/human servant to two cats for nearly 19 years, including one who beat diabetes twice. I would love to take care of your feline familiars for you.

“We (more importantly Cody) loved his time at Joyce's! We really appreciated the updates and pictures too throughout his stay! Cody seemed to have warmed up so quickly and had a blast! We are definitely going to rebook with Joyce!”

“He was truly a lifesaver. I needed someone last minute while visiting Los Angeles, and he responded very quickly, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He was immediately accommodating and even made time for a meet-and-greet on short notice. He cared for my dog on two separate days and kept me updated throughout with pictures, videos, and messages about how she was doing, including whether she had eaten. He also took her on frequent walks, which she clearly enjoyed. When I picked her up, she was happy to see me and then went straight to bed as soon as we got home, which told me she had a full and active day. He was also very flexible and accommodating with both drop-off and pick-up times. I truly appreciated his care, communication, and reliability, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“Our pup had the best time with Amanda, he was happy when we dropped him off and happy when we picked him up the next day. Amanda was communicative, flexible, and friendly. We will be using her again!!”

“Can we say concierge level service? Sylvia is just that. The way she took care of my fur baby was exceptional and I can tell she enjoyed her visit. Not to mention, the oasis she calls her home is just gorgeous! Thank you so much! We are so lucky to have found you.”

“Thankfully, we were able to book on short notice and we were lucky to find Sandra! She provided specialized care and attentiveness for my older pup who loved going to see her!”

“Michelle is a treasure!! We don’t board our dogs.period. We had a horrible experience decades ago with long gone pets. We had a 98th birthday celebration for our dad and originally were looking for someone to watch his 3 elderly dogs. We thoroughly vetted many choices and in the end chose Michelle. Then I got to thinking ,wait I needed to board my dogs too! She agreed to take them and since my dog and my dads dogs never met before she kept them separated as we requested. She understood that we were nervous about boarding and even sent me a text with a report on how they were doing! We picked them all up safe and sound. I will definitely use her again without hesitation! Look no further for someone to kindly take care of your pets!”

About: Hi there! My name is Michele, and I understand how important it is to find reliable caretakers you can trust. I approach dogs with care and kindness, and I pay attention. I prioritize following your instructions and making sure your dog is comfortable and safe with me. I have a deep history as a dog owner. My mom had a knack for picking up strays and taking in fosters, so I have been providing dog care my whole life. I was 9 years old when I first helped raise a litter of bottle babies, and dogs of all sizes and breeds were my brothers and sisters as I grew up. I have had the good fortune of having two soul dogs in my lifetime, one of whom recently passed away from lymphoma and its complications. During our two-year cancer battle, I learned a lot about canine nutrition, care for elderly and disabled dogs, and at-home medication processes including oxygen administration. Dogs are some of our best family members. I love all dogs, and I would love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule each week. I have a preference for walks in the mornings and afternoons, avoiding the hottest temperatures, but can accommodate a wide range of times. For boarding and overnights, I prioritize listening to your instructions in regards to your dog's preferences, habits, and level of training. If your dog will be comfortable having the run of the house, I am comfortable with allowing them to explore my home as they board with me; alternately, if your dog does better in more contained environments, we can set up your crate, pen, etc or limit their range to one area of the house. We have a small, maintained side yard that dogs are welcome in, but no back yard. When entering a client's home, I will behave with the utmost respect, and only enter areas of the home necessary for instructed dog care. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I reserve the discretion to limit my hours depending on any safety concerns, but will not change plans without good faith attempts at communicating with you to find solutions that work for us both.

“Sahirah is fantastic! She goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of my puppy and my husky. She walks them with ease and mind you they are super energetic. She brings them back with a smile on their face after their walks and exhausted. She is now our go to person when it comes to taking care of all of our animals. I can't say enough great things about Sahirah. I highly recommend her. She's professional, communicative, a true animal lover, and reliable. Thank you Sahirah we are truly grateful for you!”

About: I'm a lifelong cat owner, but I've been pet sitting more seriously since I was 18 – so for fourteen years! My favorite part of pet sitting – whether it's drop in visits, house sitting, or dog walking – is getting to develop meaningful relationships with the animals I care for. I don't have much experience with training puppies, but I do have experience with dogs and cats at all stages of life. I'm comfortable with administering medications, fluids, cleaning up messes that happen! I've also had experience caring for and walking dogs who are unable to be around other dogs. I've rarely met an animal I didn't like, or who didn't like me – I think they know that I genuinely love to be around and spend time with them! I work full time but mostly from home (I only go into the office once a week). This gives me a lot of flexibility for taking pets out on walks, playing with them, and giving them lots of love and attention! My approach really depends on each animal, home, and situation! Each animal is different and has different needs – some need to be walked at less crowded times if they have social or behavioral issues, some need to be guarded with constant vigilance if going for walks (because of coyotes!), etc. I will always prioritize the animal's safety! (And take lots and lots of photos and videos of them, which I will send unless you.)

About: I do not have any current certificates but I am looking to make some extra cash while attending school. I have dogsat many times before. While I was active duty it was supplemental income to watch other service members’ dogs. I am currently in school and have a lot of extra free time. Unfortunately it is not consistently the same so a part time job cannot meet the flexibility that I require. Im very communicative and can offer a pet cam or I can follow even the most meticulous instructions. I can include a bit of leash control training even during a simple walk. Every walk or pet sitting will have a bit extra TLC.

About: My family has had dogs since before I was even born; my family has a particular affinity for medium and large shelter dogs (and one dog that literally walked into our yard and hasn't left). I've been raised to love animals and I've become the type of person that waves at a dog and says, "Hello!" to every dog I drive or walk past. I have a rotation of stray cats that I feed in my yard and it's not uncommon for me to hang out with them while they eat and drink. I also willinging admit to that I've sat outside for significant amounts of time trying to entice new cat friends with squeezy treats. Growing up in an animal-loving environment, I also have experince with dogs and cats of all ages. I've been with several dogs to the end of their time here, and although not as many, a few cats too. I've walked, fed, watered, played with, and pet my dogs almost every day of life. My singular, explicit brag is that I can walk my two 70lbs+ dogs on leash without being dragged around. I've lived with inside cats for over a decade and have fed, watered, cleaned up after, and (stressfully) wrangled them on escape attempts. I'm also a proud, regular cat-sitter to two black cat siblings that would never try to escape, but would definitely sneak a double portion of dinner if I didn't watch them. I'm currently searching for a full-time job and am a partial caretaker for my dad, who increasingly more independent. That being said, my schedule is very flexible! I focus on basic pet needs and health first: food, water, relieving themselves, making sure everyone is safe. Once I know the basics are taken care of, I move on to any specific instructions from clients: training, treats, tasks, etc. And after all those are done, then (if allowed) it's hang out time! Playing, petting, and chilling out are my go to's.
About: I am here for any cat drop-in needs. I have had cats of my own for over 20 years. I have also cared for cats of friends when they were on vacation. I can also take your dogs on walks so that they can stretch their legs and sniff the world. I am a part time graduate student and work part time, so I will have flexible in my schedule to check in on your cat or take your dog on walks. Because both work and school are online, I will be able to take the time to care for your cats and dogs. I will not only treat your cats with care, but also your home. I will make sure that your cats are feed correctly, and played with in a way that they enjoy. I will take your dogs on a lovely walk to enjoy the smells of the world and make sure that they remain safely on their leashes.
“Lauriane was able to accommodate a last minute change in my schedule (for the second time) and take Deebo for an hour walk/run. He loved it and she's great with him. He gets so excited to see her and doesn't want her to leave when the walk is done. Highly recommend her!”

I believe I am very caring for pets and will always go above and beyond with attention and caring. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my own pets for a couple of years now. The first 3 photos are my pets and the other 3 are my relatives that I’ve taken care of before.

“We needed a last minute walker for our 9 month old pup and Polli made it happen! She sent me updates with photos and the route they took on the hike. Our pup was nice and tired after. Thanks!!”

“I have two big fun dogs that require attention on two different energy levels and the right person to keep them happy. Bobby was great, he got along with both dogs immediately and had no issues dealing with both energy levels. They always looked forward to his visits. I found Bobby to be reliable and flexible depending on my schedule. He communicates well. I won"t hesitate to call him again. Thanks Bobby!”

“There’s just something bout Courtney that when you first meet her, you feel absolutely comfortable with handing your dog over. My dog, bailey, loved her the second she walked In and left to go walk with her without even looking back once to see if I was going with her. I’m glad I found Courtney in such a short notice. Also her flexibility and willingness to work with you is the best!!! Highly recommend her”
About: I have experience caring for 2 dogs and a cat in the same household growing up. The cat was twice the size of both dogs, which made it funny when the cat would start chasing the dog around. I was just recently laid off and I am currently unemployed. I'm home all day except for the times I'm going for a job interview. I usually walk the dogs around 6:00 AM. Feed them. Give them water. Then around 3:00PM to walk them again. And one more time around 9-10 so they can get a bathroom break before bed. Last 3 months, when I lived in my friend's house, I would regularly walk his dog 2-3 times a day. I would sometimes cook meals for myself and the dog. I learned that garbanzo beans are really healthy for dogs. So I would make myself some beans and share it my friend's dog. It seemed to help her go potty smoothly too, thanks to all the awesome fiber it has.
About: I have two miniature poodles ( father and son) of my own who I love dearly. I also have a hamster too. I use to have three birds and three turtles. Also before I had my two dogs I had more back then. So I would take care of your animals as if they were mine. I’ve been told by others that animals love me and i’m a good caretaker. I have dog sitted before for my friends and family. I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals since This can help me understand more about other breeds , especially since i’m studying to become a vet technician. So let me help you and your pet , while still helping me . (:

He is awesome!!!”

“Julianne is a great sitter and her space is absolutely perfect for active dogs like mine who love to run around. She’s always quick to respond to any messages and my dog seemed to have an amazing time, she was so relaxed when I picked up her which is rare. Would absolutely book with her again!”

“We are so glad we left our pup in Li’s care. He sent photos every day, morning and night. He even gave her a bath so she came back so fresh and so clean! Top-notch service!”

“Kaili took wonderful care of Lolo while we were away. She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious he was having a great time and being cared for like he was part of her family. We came home to a happy dog, and that means everything. I would absolutely trust her with Lolo again and will definitely use her services in the future. Thank you so much, Kaili! 💛”

“Penny loves her stays with Sandra and Bao Bao. I know that she is in good hands and I have the comfort of knowing that she treats Penny as if she were her own. Sandra always responds quickly to any concerns I have and keeps me posted with daily activities.”

“Albert, Cat, and Trey were so lovely to work with! They were very responsive and provided me with plenty of updates and photos. Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy. It's always scary when having to leave your pet somewhere and I'm immensely grateful for them for treating Lola so well and giving her love in my absence. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart <3”

“This was my 1st experience boarding my dog. Kathryn took wonderful care of my dog Mia. She sent me pictures and messages almost daily. I would give her 10 stars if I could. I will use her services in the future. Thank again Kathryn!!”

“Yuhong is the best. She really came to our rescue last minute while we dealt with logistics related to the local wildfire. She took great care of our dog, and he was clearly happy in the daily update pics. On top of being available and reliable, Yuhong was also incredibly sensitive and caring towards our family's situation. I highly recommend her as both an awesome Rover and awesome human.”

“Amanda was excellent and very accommodating! Our 14 year old dog seemed very happy with her and she kept me updated on how everything was going. She even helped me figure out the Rover app when I couldn’t!”

“Marc was very knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions to ensure my two dogs were comfortable. He sent pictures and a few updates on how they were adjusting. I'm glad we booked Marc and will do so again if we are back in the area.”

“Kendis was amazing! We have a reactive dog who pulls so we were worried about finding the appropriate sitter. When we met Kendis, all of our fears were immediately gone - she even knew the exact method we were using with our trainer to work on his pulling! After we dropped him off, she kept us updated with his status and many wonderful photos. Needless to say, we picked up a very happy pup at the end of our trip. We hate having to leave our dog, but feel so much better knowing we'll be able to book Kendis to watch him again in the future!”

“Issak was great! I haven’t been able to successfully socialize my dog for the longest time, but Issak was able to accomplish that within 2 days of having my dog. He has a way with dogs and great charisma. I definitely recommend him.”

“Deanna was phenomenal! She helped me when I was in a pickle and needed a dog sitter on very short notice. Not only was she willing, she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and communicated regularly with updates throughout my dog’s stay. I picked up a very happy pup who’s acting like his usual self. I can’t thank Deanna enough!”

“Amazing experience! My 2 dogs stayed with Jianlei for a few nights and I would definitely book another stay for them in the future. With a park right next door, my dogs were able to take frequent potty breaks and walks. Jianlei was very responsive and sent pictures/updates in the morning and evening which definitely helped with my peace of mind, especially since I have a senior dog. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much!”
