“Regina is the best sitter! She always sends lots of updates with photos and videos. Our puppy loves playing with her and she is exceptionally taken care of. She also is a lovely houseguest. 11/10 highly recommend.”

“Caroline is wonderful! We have used her dog sitting services twice now and were very happy with the level of care she provided for our dog. Very communicative and stayed the entire time! We will definitely be booking with Caroline in the future!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Josh was an absolute gem of a cat sitter! From our initial video chat, I knew Dennis (my recently adopted ex-street cat) would be in good hands. Josh came to the meet & greet fully prepared and even managed to get Dennis to come out from under the bed—no small feat for a cat who spent 8+ years on the streets! 😸 He sent updates, photos, and thoughtful messages each visit, which really helped ease my first-time Rover nerves. He even met me after to return my keys and parking pass—above and beyond. Josh has great energy, and Dennis clearly approved (which says everything). Highly recommend—your pets will be in caring, capable hands. Will definitely book again!”

“We hired Saige to house sit and take care of our dog Dwayne while we were on vacation, and she was absolutely awesome! From start to finish, she was super friendly, professional, and communicative. She sent us great updates and adorable photos of Dwayne throughout our trip, which gave us total peace of mind. When we got home, our house was immaculate — it looked like no one had even been there (except for a very happy dog!). We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Saige to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: Hi, I am Perry! I love dogs and grew up with them! I’ve volunteered at the San Francisco SPCA for over a decade and have worked with many breeds of dogs of various ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have also walked up to six dogs off leash at Fort Funston when I worked with Top Dog SF for two years. I always strive to stay calm and respond rather than react in any stressful situation. I specialize in animal safe handling and behavior, and look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend for lots of daily enrichment and exercise. My availability is weekdays (Monday through Friday) that works best for me. I am also flexible on weekends if needed when enough advanced notice is given. Safety is my number one rule. On my housesitting visits, I will follow your guidelines and rules (if your have any) for taking great care of your pet and making them feel safe and comfortable.

“Jeffrey was fantastic with our 3 dogs! He cared for them like they were his own — including a senior who needs daily medication and another shy/nervous pup. Before the stay, he took the time to meetup to ensure the dogs were comfortable with him—especially our very nervous one. That extra effort really made a difference. During the stay, Jeffrey kept us updated with regular messages and photos. In every single one, the dogs looked relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. By the end of the stay, our shy dog had totally come around—she and Jeffrey really clicked, and it was so sweet to see how much she trusted him. We’ll definitely be booking with him again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 5 years. Neighbors, friends, and relatives have relied on me for walks, feeding, and grooming. I enjoy taking care of pets(in general) because I love seeing their personalities shine through and it’s rewarding to see them enjoy their time with me. As always I make sure the care I give is the same a their owners because I want to make sure the routine doesn’t change. I work from home which is convenient because my schedule is very flexible. I’m usually free in the afternoons from Monday to Wednesday (1-7pm). Thursdays are my busiest days at work as I have meetings all day until 5pm. And most Fridays I’m free as well(10:30am-6pm) When doing visits, I will be attentive of your pet and their environment at all times. Every visit I’ll make sure they’re well fed, water is fresh, and play with them as needed. Please let me know if there are specific instructions that I need to follow when I’m at your residence. I’m by a school and a neighborhood park where walking dogs is pretty common during the day so I would plan to walk around that area (unless suggested otherwise). I’m also familiar with a bunch of parks that are dog/pet friendly in the peninsula so your pet will always be entertained and safe in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs for as far back as I can remember! They are the thing in this world that makes me happier than anything. I get along with every breed/size/type of dog I’ve ever been around and am so looking forward to meeting more awesome pups through the app! My schedule is currently very flexible and can be adjusted on a week to week basis depending on a clients needs. I plan to be available as much as possible to establish routines but open enough to change based on circumstances. I look forward to providing top quality care for your four legged friend(s)! I am a responsible person who takes looking after someone’s animal/home very seriously. If staying overnight I’d love to meet you and discuss your routines with your animals, and just make sure it’s a situation everyone is comfortable with to maximize the care I can provide!

“Caroline was great with our senior dachshund. She stayed with him for a weekend at our place and kept us updated on how he was doing. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsible. We will hire her again the next time we go out of town!”

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I've been taking care of animals since I was young. I have experience from rabbits, an iguana, a love bird, and fish, to cats and dogs. I also have experience from kittens and puppies to full adults. I currently own an 8 month old Bernese Mountain Dog and I've been self-training him with positive reinforcement for personal service work since he was 8 weeks old. So training on the side is something a little extra that I can work with! I currently only do freelance art and don't have a full time job, so I'm able to pick up any available walking jobs throughout the day! The only caveat is that I still work my own dog throughout the day as well so he gets his own love, attention, and exercise. I update my calendar regularly! My darling Bernese boy is with me 24/7. Along with early world socialization, he is trained only with positive reinforcement and I will treat every other friend/family/neighbor/client's with the same love and care as he gets.

I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to hang and take out your babies! We can do walks, at home enrichment, or just relaxing together. “I highly recommend Sammi as a caretaker your pet. We were so grateful to have Sammi caring for our pup, Summit, while we were out of town. From the first meet and greet, Sammi was a natural with Summit. While we were away she followed his care instructions thoughtfully and was a great communicator with us. We felt so lucky knowing our puppy was in good hands while we were away.”

“As always they did a great job house sitting for us and watching our dog and cat. They are very responsive and provided plenty of pictures and updates on our pets. We always feel good leaving our pets with them.”

“Cheryll was great! We went away and had no cell reception basically our entire trip and I trusted Cheryll every minute we were gone with our two babies! When we did get cell reception finally we had tons of pics of her with the dogs. She even took the trash out and left the house exactly how we left it. I would definitely have Cheryll watch our pups again in the future!”

“Lucy has been extremely thoughtful and considerate taking care of Nala - she’s gone out of her way to make sure she understands everything Nala needs and takes amazing care of her and of the apartment. Thank you!!”

“Caroline was a lifesaver! The thought of leaving our kitty at home with a stranger for 16 days was nerve-wracking, to say the least! Thankfully, we found Caroline, and she took the anxiety out of the equation. She took care to follow out instructions and maintain Tatsu's kitty routine with minimal disruption. In addition, Caroline gave regular updates and communicated in detail about how things were going. It was clear from her communication that Tatsu had settled in well with her new caregiver. When we returned home, we found a healthy and content little cat and a spotless home. We are deeply grateful for Caroline's cat sitting and would highly recommend her for anyone seeking a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

Katrina A.
“I'm writing to enthusiastically recommend my friend Katrina for a position with Rover as a pet caregiver and dog walker. I’ve known Katrina for several years, and during that time, I’ve seen firsthand her deep love for animals, responsible nature, and strong work ethic. Katrina has always been the go-to person in our circle whenever someone needs help with their pets—whether it’s walking dogs, feeding cats, or just spending quality time with them. She’s attentive, patient, and truly understands that pets are family. I’ve trusted her to care for my own pets, and she treated them with the same affection and responsibility as I would. Her calm demeanor, reliability, and natural connection with animals make her a perfect fit for pet care. I’m confident that anyone who chooses Katrina through Rover will feel at ease knowing their pets are in caring and capable hands.”

Philip P.
“Phil is the best with dogs. Animals and children gravitate toward him. He is a very calm, gentle person. He takes good care of the home he is working in as well. He especially likes to play with the dogs at the beach, and will also comfortably snuggle with them on the couch all day if that’s their prerogative. He is reliable and takes his work seriously, but most of all he loves the dogs back. It brings him joy to be around animals”

“Rachel and I have been friends for many years now, whenever I need to go on any personal or work-related trips she is always happy to watch over my two dogs. She provides updates when I ask and at the end, it seems like the dogs are more happy to see her than me sometimes. She treats my pets as if they were her own children and as long as they are happy and under great care and supervision, I am happy.”

Rochelle S.
“Rochelle was great! My fur baby was happy and she left everything tidy as I left it. She was able to administer the oral medicine required and sent photos to confirm. She also kept me up to date with photos to confirm that all the pets were inside and the doors were locked up properly.”
