About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was 18. Now working in the medical side, I am able to make sure pets get their medications (including insulin) appropriately. I am mostly able to care for pets during the weekends or at nights. My work schedule at the veterinarian keeps me busy during the weekdays. I am unfortunately not able to offer pet care at my personal home. I am more than willing to travel to a clients house to care for their pets in their most comfortable environment.
“Jen was the consummate professional. She was quickly responsive to our request, came by a day early to assess her compatibility with our pets, and sent plenty of cute pics as she was walking/feeding our fur babies. She even found a new spot for our dog to poop! 10/10, would recommend.”

“Jeanne is wonderful. Checks all the obvious boxes – reliable, trustworthy, punctual, etc. But most importantly,IMO, incredibly patient and kind. I don’t need Jeanne’s services terribly often, so there are usually big blocks of time in between her visits with Sadie. She’s always so patient in allowing Sadie to take her time and get reacquainted. Equally sensitive to her comfort as to getting the walk done and the business taken care of. I’m grateful to have found her.”

“Andrea was so great to communicate with - she sent lots of videos and was clearly so sweet with our dog. Very happy to have connected with her, and highly recommend!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 16. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed and take care of their dogs. I am comfortable taking dogs for long walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park, and I have stayed in home as a pet sitter. My family has a dog and I am involved in her care and play time on a daily basis. I have a very flexible schedule and have lots of time for your pup. I am available for late morning and afternoon walks and playtime. I have an energetic 60 pound dog. I am used to walking a strong dog and can easily handle a dog that may pull. I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood and/or play in your yard. I will work with whatever routine your dog is accustomed to.
“It’s been a blessing finding Alex!! I’ve never seen my dog warm up to someone as quickly as he warmed up to Alex. She’s patient and understands our dog is a little reactive but works with him nonetheless. Everytime we use Alex, my partner and I say how relieved we are that we found someone we can trust with our fur baby. Thank you, Alex!”

“Sandra was fantastic!! She was friendly, professional and great with our dog Maple. We had a last minute need and she came in clutch and would absolutely recommend her!”

About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, providing fresh water, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes and living areas, administering medications when needed, and ensuring pets receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I am attentive to each pet's individual needs and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I am reliable, patient, and committed to providing loving, responsible care while owners are away. I’m currently unemployed while my children are in daycare and after school programs. Outside of appointments I’m free spending time with my cats and my females kittens I currently have 2 black cats. My female whom I rescued recently was pregnant and had 6 babies(3 weeks old) I’ve also had dogs and cats in my past. I love animals. My home is clean and organized.
“Heather is wonderful! Maizie cozied up to her immediately, and it's super-clear she and Heather have a tight bond even after just a couple of walks (and belly rubs..). And I get to come home at the end of the day to a very happy and calm pup.”

About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. My primary goal when caring for your pet is simple: I want them to feel happy, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for owners. I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. I treat every animal with gentleness, respect, and the kind of attention I would want for my own pets. I work remotely in IT for a nonprofit organization, which gives me a very flexible weekday schedule. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having some furry company during the week. Whether that means a midday walk to break up my workday or a fuzzy companion nearby while I’m at my desk. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

“Jae is a lifesaver! She walked my dog, Bear, while I was recovering from surgery and even showed up reliably during a snowstorm. She is punctual, professional, and clearly a 'dog person.' Bear was always thrilled to see her and came back happy after every walk. Highly recommended!”

“Gabriela was great! She was super adaptable and stopped over on such short notice to meet Steve the night before we needed a walker. She handled all of our needs, kept us updated on everything and provided pictures of her walk with Steve! She did a great job and we know Steve had fun on his walk. We highly recommend Gabriela and we will be using her again in the future”

“Thank you so much Mai! You helped out and loved on my boy last minute when I was in a pinch! The pics and updates were so much appreciated and helped me to feel some relief of anxiousness of leaving Linus with a stranger! He was happy when I returned so I know he felt cared for! We will be reaching out again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Wharf
We’ve just started working with Carole and she’s fantastic so far! She holds our dog to high expectations, shares robust updates about their walks together, and generously squeezed us in when she already had a full week. We’re grateful to be working with her and look forward to continuing to do so!

Juan was absolutely amazing…He walked my 13 year old Chihuahua Jack for a week and was very punctual, great communication and just an overall great person…Jack doesn’t always like everyone but in no time at all he was wagging his tail in anticipation of Juan coming to get him…have no fear when booking Juan.
