About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home
About: Dogs love me, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I talk to them in a baby voice like they’re the kid I never had…or maybe it’s the pupperoni treat that’s been forgotten in my pocket for two months. I’ve cared for the family dog/s while growing up from the age of 8 to 25 (including playing, walking, picking up the poo, training to sit/stay/come/play dead/shake, swimming and chasing squirrels together). I’m really good with dogs. Nah, I’m GREAT with dogs! If cats are you jam, I single-handedly loved and cared for two at the same time. Cat One was a challenging gal who was a selfish, particular, mean-spirited, chubby princess. I kept this diva alive for 18-years with no thanks or gratitude. I suspect she lived so long out of pure spite. Her step sister, Cat Two I loved for 16-years. She was a purebred Persian (ie: I know how to brush). She actually acted more like a friendly dog really, so maybe she doesn’t count under my cat experience? I work from home, ten hour shifts M-Th from 7am to 5-ish. I can take breaks during the day for feeding, walks or a little pettin’/pee break. I score higher than a kite on the Big Five personality traits under ‘conscientiousness’. Your fur darlin’ and belongings are safe with me. We’ll laugh, we’ll play, we’ll have quality petting time.
About: I am an animal lover through and through! I was raised with small and large dogs so I am happy to take care of your pet regardless of size. I am currently a graduate student at Yale School of Environment, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets this holiday season! I am unable to care for your pets in my home, but I am more than happy to go to yours! I always aim to be respectful of you, your home, and your pets.
“Vanessa is so lovely! She walks my pug, Mabel, regularly and Mabel adores her. She is incredibly reliable and sends great pictures and updates. I appreciate her extra effort so much and would recommend her to anyone!”

“My dog can be picky with strangers, but she loves Yunwen. Yunwen is super sweet—she took my pup to a big grassy field to play, and brought water so she could drink on the way. I could tell my pup was super happy and relaxed after the walk. Yunwen is reliable, and genuinely cares about dogs. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a great walker!”

About: I cared for my yorkie for 14 years, who needed special attention and care in his senior years. I would care for your dog as if it were my own. I work remotely 2 days a week in Stamford (the Cove). I have more flexibility on the weekends (Friday-Monday). Contact me and we can see if my schedule works for your needs! I would follow all your instructions and be respectful of your home and pet rules in the home. I would treat your home with the utmost care as a guest.
About: I follow all rules to better care for your dogs/children! I can baby them if allowed to, so they wont feel alone away from home! I am free all the time and I work online! I can take them out at their scheduled times, you let me know their needs. I have a friendly dog (that’s spayed) who’s pretty playful but can also be calm when she needs to. I have a pretty large space for them to roam and I can always take walks at parks nearby! You let me know any dietary restrictions you have for your child or any triggers, that way I can know in advance on how to be a better caregiver to your pet!
“Sarah did such an amazing job! I have two dogs with very different personalities and she handled them both great! She also took them on a long walk they were still sleepy by the time we got home. Thanks again!”

“I was new to the area and needed a dog walker within a few days notice. And somehow got lucky enough to stumble upon Mary Rose’s profile. She’s incredibly sweet and responsive, and truly loves animals. Whether it be just a walk in the neighborhood or staying overnight, I truly have zero worries about leaving my dog and two cats. You can tell she loves what she does. Although she’d say she was the lucky one, pretty sure I win! :)”
