My name is Gabriela and I am 29 years old. I am currently a Columbia University visual arts/art history student and I am living in New Haven, CT. My family has owned dogs and cats since I was little and I have been told that I am quite the animal whisperer! I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I love them all and do not discriminate. I specialize primarily in reinforcing established, positive routines for both dogs and cats. I am not equipped to handle severe behavioral rehabilitation or extensive training. I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs and preforming wound care along with reinforcing basic commands. I also follow proper leash technique on walks to ensure that your dog is safe and calm. I am a strong believer that every animal has a distinct personality and you have to meet them where they are at just like humans! I am a very patient, empathetic, professional and energetic person and I look forward to meeting your furry friends. I extend them the same love and care that you provide to them at home which is one on one care with a dedicated focus. I also ensure that your homes are immaculate when you come home. Geordie is a stubborn lovable Corgi who has never been left with a sitter before. Gabriela did wonderfully with him. Primarily, she has an air of responsibility about her and I felt safe to leave. I had been worried about it for weeks. No worries. Geordie was well cared for and I’m very grateful.
Gabriela was amazing with my dog and my dog really enjoyed her company!! We are grateful she was able and willing to help us last minute. Will definitely book again in the future.

Schedule
I have classes midday from 1-5pm. I am available in the mornings and evenings for walks or drop ins before or after my classes for this fall semester.
