About: Hello! My name is Mikayla and I am a Yale graduate student who recently moved to New Haven with my husband. Since 2010, and on my own since 2017, I took care of my family yellow lab, Molly, until she passed at 13.5 years old. Through this, I have had experience with all stages of a dog’s life, with extensive experience in senior care. I am also available for boarding other pets as well (i.e. cats). Due to my flexible school schedule I am available to walk or board your pet at most times throughout the week. My husband, Justin, and I cannot wait to welcome your pet into our home and we promise to love and take of them while you are away. Feel free to reach out if you have any direct questions. Looking forward to caring for your pet!! 😊 I am a graduate nursing student with a flexible schedule where I only go into school or clinicals 2x a week. I am also able to come back throughout the day during those times. Lastly, my husband works from home so someone is always there to care for your pet. I have a partially fenced yard for your dog to play and use the restroom. Our home is open and clean, making it easy for cats and dogs to move around. It is 2 floors, but the first floor is main living so senior pets do not need to access the stairs.

“Jessica has both personal and professional experience with dogs. She has walked and cared for my own german shepherd and looks out for the pets wellbeing. She has even gotten out of her way to educating kids and giving tips on how to care for pets.”

“My anxious pup Max was willing to go for a walk with Sabina which is a big deal! She was flexible and communicative. Will definitely book again!”

“Great communication, attitude and caring. Our dog is a docile but powerful dog that still has crazy puppy vibes. They were able to manage him perfectly. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone with full confidence.”

“Julia was great walking and checking in on our dog Franklin. She was very thorough, prompt with responses, and sent a lot of updates with pictures. We’ll definitely use Julia again in the future.”

“kevin has been so great when it comes to helping take my dog out while i’m working, and even longer term care when i’m away for trips and long weekends! my three terriers love him! he’s been a pleasure to have available for help at any hour of the day! even have a few of my friends using his services now.”

“Athena is wonderful with dogs. She is responsive, loves to spend time snuggling with her doggy clients, and is very kind. She is patient and responsible and I highly recommend her!”

“Yiran took care of my 4 year old labradoodle Bodie for three days while I went on a work trip. Bodie has anxiety and though he's loving and kind, he can be a bit much in unfamiliar situations. Yiran was a champ with Bodie's quirkiness and made sure Bodie got a good amount of exercise to keep him happy. When, I came back to get him I found a happy healthy pup, and thats all you can ever hope for! Separately I know Yiran professionally, and can tell you she is hardworking, honest, and trustworthy. You won't go wrong leaving your fur baby in her capable hands.”

“Azeen looked after our yellow lab while we were on vacation. She was terrific. She walked him twice a day, took him swimming, dried him off, and looked after his needs. She even helped with our pool, and turned on our AC on the final day. I highly recommend her, and would not hesitate to use her again. She's also very friendly”

“We had the absolute pleasure of having Ellie care for our pets while we were away, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her care and dedication. Ellie is a bright, energetic, and incredibly responsible college senior at Yale University, and her love for animals shines through in everything she does. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, Ellie is experienced with animals of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who require special attention. She has a natural ability to connect with animals and has a calm, nurturing demeanor that makes them feel at ease. We were especially impressed with her experience in giving medications and handling pets with health concerns, as it gave us peace of mind knowing our pets would receive the best possible care. Ellie is also an excellent communicator—she kept us updated regularly with photos and updates on our pets, which made us feel connected while we were away. It was clear that she went above and beyond to ensure our animals were happy, safe, and comfortable in our absence. We wholeheartedly recommend Ellie as a pet sitter! Her maturity, experience, and deep love for animals make her an ideal choice for anyone in need of a reliable and caring sitter.”

She has cared for my pets with the utmost attention and affection, treating them as if they were her own. Mariely consistently demonstrates reliability and kindness and goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and happiness of our pets. “If you’re looking for someone who will provide not just excellent care, but also kindness and attention to your furry family members, Mayella is the perfect choice. She is reliable, responsible, and has a natural talent for making pets and their humans feel at ease. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“At least 25 words?! I could write a BOOK about Shauna and her pet caregiving and love for all animals. She has cared for my pets as much as WE care for our pets and when it comes down to it, isn't that all we really want? Someone to anthropomorphize our pets and become the second in command, making conversation with them, speaking for them. Any pet owner knows we all do it. You'll never, ever find another human being on earth that puts her whole heart and soul into caring for her pet or mine or yours! ”

About: I absolutely love taking care of animals! I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. I enjoy an active lifestyle and am able to meet the exercise needs of any pet. Depending on your dog and their abilities, I can provide tons of outdoor time. I usually do around 45 minutes to 1 hour long walk in the morning, with another long walk or fun outdoor activity in the afternoon (swimming, hiking, fetch in the park, etc). I live in a single-family home with my sister Alexis. I work full-time, but have a hybrid work schedule and have many days/mornings/afternoons where I am able to work from home. I can accommodate different schedules and times for drop-offs and pick-ups with enough notice. My sister works full-time from 7am-3:30pm, so your pup won't spend too much time alone. I do not work on the weekends and therefore am free to take your pup to different spots to play! I have a small yard that is partially fenced, but am also able to take your dog on long walks in the neighborhood. Let me know if your dog can go off-leash, or if they should remain leashed or in fenced-in areas. I do have a long line (30ft) that can be used with your dog so they can explore and run while still being leashed.
