“Sarah did such an amazing job! I have two dogs with very different personalities and she handled them both great! She also took them on a long walk they were still sleepy by the time we got home. Thanks again!”

“Our dog took to Jen immediately. By day two of their relationship, he was looking forward to her arrival. She constantly communicated what they were getting into, both visiting his favorite places and exploring new spots together.”

“Carole has been an incredible addition to our support team with Orfeu. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and has already helped us provide our highly anxious pup with more structure and security. We are beyond impressed with her professionalism and care. We would recommend her very highly to anyone!”

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, often walking over to my grandparents’ farm to visit the cows. My calm energy helps animals feel comfortable. For the past 3.5 years, we’ve been the proud owners of Tos, our small labradoodle. From the start, we’ve focused on reading his body language to better understand his needs. This allows for more relaxed, quality time together. I’m confident I can provide safe, attentive, and enjoyable walks for your dog 🐶 When it comes to purry friends, I’m happy to give them as much love — or space — as they need. I'm currently working on setting up my own baking business, which allows me to be very flexible. Fitting your furry friend in my schedule would be amazing! Everyone has their own house rules, and I respect those. Depending on your dog’s personality, I adjust my walks accordingly. Whether your dog loves dog parks, quiet park walks, or has a different preference, I’m flexible and happy to accommodate. I usually do not let dogs off leash, except in gated dog parks. I also carry a (very) long leash, which allows dogs to explore safely.
About: Here to take care of your home or your fuzzy friends (cats and dogs). I have years of experience in caring for dogs of all ages and house-sitting. I have experience in cat care as well. If you have a puppy with the zoomies, an old dog running on naps, a shy kitty, plants that need watering, or a home that needs checking in on I'm here to provide reliable loving care. I offer house sitting, dog-walking, pet sitting, and pet-check ins. I'm currently a graduate student with a light course load. Much of my work is done virtually/asynchronously, so I have a lot of flexibility and free time to care for your pet and home when you need, even on short notice. I have experience in caring for many different animals: dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, horses, and more! Prior to graduate school, I worked as an ICU nurse. I am a professional caregiver. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s needs. Just tell me what your furry friend or home needs and I will follow your instructions to a T.
“This is my second time working with Jessica, and she was wonderful. So communicative, caring, and went the extra mile to make sure that our pup's needs were taken care of, like when it was raining she took initiative to dry off our pup and make sure that she was ok when we were gone for a week!”

About: I have helped raise 3 litters of puppies, and I have extensive experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and abilities from my time as a pet parent and volunteer at my local animal shelter. I am currently in graduate school and work part time, leaving the majority of my days and weekends available to care for your furry friend! I am a lifelong animal lover, and given my active lifestyle, I am able to keep up with even the highest energy animals! I am also very detail-oriented, meaning that I can anticipate your animal’s needs and give them a similar experience to their day-to-day routine with you.
“I was new to the area and needed a dog walker within a few days notice. And somehow got lucky enough to stumble upon Mary Rose’s profile. She’s incredibly sweet and responsive, and truly loves animals. Whether it be just a walk in the neighborhood or staying overnight, I truly have zero worries about leaving my dog and two cats. You can tell she loves what she does. Although she’d say she was the lucky one, pretty sure I win! :)”

About: I'm a Stanford Alum who used to take care of pets in the Palo Alto area. Now working at Yale Med and trying to see some pet babies on the side! I've taken care of small to medium dogs (Shitzu's to Goldens), calm dogs to hyper dogs (love dancing around with a Husky!), shaved cats to fluffy cats, and sweet cats to feisty cats. Love them all so much! Been taking care of family dogs for years and have 2 years of formal cat care experience outside of the family. I’ll be able to devote mornings, evenings, and weekends to pet care 😻 I have a full time job but most days of the week it is remote and flexible! I live in an apartment that can host small to medium dogs and cats. In client's home's, I'll carefully follow care instructions from owners on how to maintain safety within the apartment.
About: I own dogs and cats of my own. Former kennel tech for a boarding and daycare facility of all dog breeds/ temperaments/sizes. Currently work with dogs. I work full-time. I am generally around on my off days and happy to stop by before and/or after work. Just reach out and we can try to work something out/ talk about schedules :) I usually dont do drop ins weekly, as my plans change when im not working, so please only ask for specific dates. I am an avid hiker, so if you have an energetic friend I am more than happy to take him or her out on longer walks! But I'm also down for hugs and cuddles with senior pets or furry felines
“Marie is the first dog walker I’ve used on Rover and she has been wonderful!! Very kind and professional and goes above and beyond. She sent me photos from their walk and shared cute updates, which I appreciated ☺️ 10/10 would recommend.”

“Great communication, attitude and caring. Our dog is a docile but powerful dog that still has crazy puppy vibes. They were able to manage him perfectly. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone with full confidence.”

About: I love dogs as the oversized babies that they are. I love to play with them and go on hikes. It’s great to have a little buddy around. I work full time but looking forward to walking dogs after or before work. I’m looking forward to having a companion while hosting dogs on my days off I’m very attentive and engaging. I am adaptable to each dogs personality and energy levels. Whether it’s a cozy day watching tv and cuddling on the couch or out and about on a hike.
“Crystal is fantastic! Our pups love the time they spent walking with Crystal. Thank you for watching our pups and following the instructions to ensure proper care while we were away! We highly recommend Crystal!”

About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs and cats from pugs, to raising my 4 year old English cream golden retriever from 2 months to now, to a Bernese mountain dog! Friends and family rely on me to take care of their pets when I am away and I’m all for it! Let me know how I can best serve you and your furry family members! I’m currently attending Yale’s PA program. Most days vary depending on the schedule but I am available for potty breaks. During the evening I will be home and available. Weekends I love to spend outside and would be more than happy to take your pet along! Message me with questions! I have quite a bit of skill with a range of dogs and have learned quite a bit with my golden from puppy age to now (who is rambunctious as you can imagine!) I care for other peoples pets as I would my own.
“Vanessa is so lovely! She walks my pug, Mabel, regularly and Mabel adores her. She is incredibly reliable and sends great pictures and updates. I appreciate her extra effort so much and would recommend her to anyone!”

Dixwell dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sophia is the best dog sitter and walker we have ever come across. She stayed at our place with our 11 year old Puggle, Finn, for 10 days while we were in Italy and we had absolutely no worries. She was so attentive and caring towards him, and always reached out to us with questions, updates and pictures. It’s very obvious that Sophia is a natural with animals and that they sense they can trust her. Recently, we had her watch/feed/walk both Finn and our daughter’s Australian Shepherd, Ava, who can be a handful around strangers and other dogs but Ava took to Sophia immediately. We trust Sophia implicitly and I think you will find that to be true, too. You’ll make the best decision by entrusting your pets in her care!

Nancy was immediately loved by my pit mix Cheebs. He is very selective about his people but warmed up to Nancy so quickly, which made us knew we can trust her. She’s great with our guy, loves on him like he’s her own. She’s stayed in our home and done a few walks and we know we can count on her. Thank you, Nancy!

My dog can be picky with strangers, but she loves Yunwen. Yunwen is super sweet—she took my pup to a big grassy field to play, and brought water so she could drink on the way. I could tell my pup was super happy and relaxed after the walk. Yunwen is reliable, and genuinely cares about dogs. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a great walker!

I can’t say enough good things about Janalie! She was very attentive, reliable, and kind. I travelled for the 4th of July weekend and she came three times a day to walk my dog and feed her. She even gave me updates on my cat and lizard! She was always on time and gave me plenty of photos and detailed notes. She even offered to help if my plane got delayed/had any issues which was incredibly kind. She made me feel really reassured - thank you for that! If friends or family need someone responsible to watch over their pet, I would 100% recommend Janalie.
