About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was 18. Now working in the medical side, I am able to make sure pets get their medications (including insulin) appropriately. I am mostly able to care for pets during the weekends or at nights. My work schedule at the veterinarian keeps me busy during the weekdays. I am unfortunately not able to offer pet care at my personal home. I am more than willing to travel to a clients house to care for their pets in their most comfortable environment.

About: After years of for-friends & word of mouth dog & catsitting I'm making the jump to pro! I have a relatively open schedule & love to travel..my apartment in New Haven doesn't allow animals so this is how I get pet time in! I work for myself doing mostly gig stuff so am flexible when it comes to timing for potty breaks etc, & am not limited much geographically I've yet to meet a pet I didn't connect w & traveling the world I've learned a healthy respect for other's spaces while staying at their properties

About: I started dog walking in college, which naturally expanded to sitting. Other than the feeling of getting my degree, taking care of those sweet pets made my experience so pleasant. Community members have trusted me to not only make sure their pets are properly looked after, but that they make a new friend too. Befriending new animals is why I love this job! I have recently completed an MFA in Stage Management at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and, now have plenty of time to take pups on walks or do sittings. I'm generally free most afternoons and evenings, with occasional morning availability. I am very attentive to a pet's needs, and will make sure to give them the love they want (and know when to back off if they'd rather be alone). Unfortunately I am not currently offering boarding for furry friends. Before visits/sitting I'd prefer to meet beforehand, to get used to the space and aquainted with the pet's routine.

About: I've lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was 12 years old and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Got a big dog that likes to pull? I'm 6' tall, strong, gentle, and patient. People's cats tend to like me even when they're antisocial with strangers. I love to go on walks or hang out and play. I work part time in the evenings so I am typically most available during regular working hours (9-5) but can accommodate requests for evening visits with enough advance notice. I can't board animals at my apartment but I'm happy to visit yours! I have a car and can travel if you'd like me to take your dog for a walk in the woods for extra enrichment.

About: I am a lifelong dog enthusiast, currently with 2 dogs of my own. As far back as childhood, I'd was in charge of the afternoon and evening walks for all of our family dogs. Throughout my adult life I have dog sat and walked dogs for friends and family someitmes even for weeks at a time. I've cared for teeny dogs through Newfoundlands and thoroughly enjoy them all! Experienced with reactive dogs and leash pullers. Comfortable with medications and special diets. Comfortable with puppies through elders! I currently work part time as a telehealth Therapist and I am building my case load so I have lots of flexibility to accommodate pet needs. Since I have two dogs of my own and limited space, I will care for clients' pets in their own homes and keep their routines as consistent as I can. I strongly believe consistency is important for dogs, even when their parents are away. I would be happy to set up a phone, in-person, or video meet-and-greet with any pets and caretakers beforehand to go over any pertinent details.

About: My love for my own pets inspired me to continue working with animals during college! With a major in psychology and a goal of working with therapy animals in the future, I love learning and growing as much as I can. I have multiple years of professional experience in animal shelters, and a therapy animal program! I'm hoping to spend more time gaining experience working with animals. Not only is it enjoyable to hangout with furry friends, but it will be beneficial to my future career working in animal assisted therapy! About: Hello, we are Atakan and Nafiye who loves animals. :) I have my own dog for 8 years. I take care of dogs since I was 18 and after having my dog, I actively take care my friends dog as well. Additionally, I volunteered at animal shelter. We are currently working as part time and we have a plenty of time to take care of dogs. We also have a car and flexible. We are going to follow all your directions for taking care of your dog. We have a house with yard. Our dog is small and friendly, additionally we have extra rooms.

About: I’m very patient with pets. I’ve cared for different types of dogs and sizes since 9 years old including some puppy and potty training, and even washing the pet if needed also I’m pretty timely, caring, understanding, I follow well with any instructions provided to leave you and your pet happy and calm and your pet will have enough backyard space to play around or play indoors. I use this as part time work and usually leave out two days for personal reasons but I am also quite flexible if advised beforehand I have a dog gate inside my house if needed, as well as no harmful products near by . Also I have family members who love dogs and will give plenty of love and attention to your pet so they feel cared for. My backyard has a huge dog cage just in case for separation if anything. Lastly I currently have no pets so no jealously will happen.

About: I have been housesitting, dog and cat sitting for about 15 years now as a side gig. I have several references and usually rely on word of mouth referrals. I am free most weekends and holidays, with some flexibility during the week for drop in visits. I live in the New Haven area but am willing to travel for gigs. I am happy to house-sit but am unable to bring pets into my home. I am good with animals of all types and have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages.

About: I’ve taken care of family members dog and love to play with them and love on them dogs deserve so much love just like us humans I’m currently a stay at home mom of 4 and pregnant and just looking for extra work for the holidays and for fun on free time I have a backyard and two little ones who loves dog and will love to keep the little one company while around and can crate when I’m Not home

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my commitment to providing personalized, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. Along with providing updates and being prepared for an emergency situation. I am currently in college with a relatively flexible schedule as of right now. I have mid morning class that are no longer then 2-3 hours. I play softball but will schedule accordingly based on offers. I am able to abide to a routine the pet has and will prepare myself to ensure all the pets needs are meet. I will make sure the pets comfort hygiene and safety comes first!

About: Been house/ pet siting for over 30 years. Have experience with dogs/ cats, small animals, and fish. Special diets, senior care, and pet meds administration. I’m currently retired and free to care for your fur babies anytime needed. Your fur baby is my biggest concern and receives my undivided attention. Have experience house/pet sitting with feeding, walking, potty breaks, crating, and all aspects of care. Special needs, and seniors are no issue. Every fur babies gets individual attention.

About: My name is David. I love taking care of animals! I grew up with a Lhasa Apso named Milo, and currently have a sweet cat named Cordelia, who I’ve had for the last 16 years. Recently, I acquired two new cats - Molly, a long-haired white cat, and Olly, a short hair grey and white cat. I love caring for pets and have experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs and cats while they are away. I also worked at a doggy day care in the past, a wonderful experience that I’ll always treasure. I’ve been active on Rover for about 7 years now, and have had a great experience watching both cats and dogs. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! I live New Haven so I can do drop-ins and pet sitting around this area. I work from home so am available during the week and also on most weekends. I also frequently visit the Hartford and Farmington area on weekends. I work from home so I am able to check in during the day if needed, and both before and after work. Also available on weekends unless otherwise noted. I care for other people’s pets however they request; some have fenced in yards while others require walking. Feeding times differ, as do the types of food and the location to feed. Regardless of the specifics, I am prepared to care for your pet as if they are my own.
