“Jen was absolutely amazing. I was a dunce and forgot I had my old address in my profile and she was gracious enough to come to our actual place to still complete the walk even though she had arrived at my old place already. My dog is reactive to other dogs while on leash and I witnessed first hand how well she handled her while seeing another dog. I’m looking forward to using her services regularly!!”

About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, providing fresh water, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes and living areas, administering medications when needed, and ensuring pets receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I am attentive to each pet's individual needs and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I am reliable, patient, and committed to providing loving, responsible care while owners are away. I’m currently unemployed while my children are in daycare and after school programs. Outside of appointments I’m free spending time with my cats and my females kittens I currently have 2 black cats. My female whom I rescued recently was pregnant and had 6 babies(3 weeks old) I’ve also had dogs and cats in my past. I love animals. My home is clean and organized.
About: I've loved animals all of my life and I have 2 cats but, I also know how to take care of dogs. Animals are a passion of mine. I do work but, I'll have time to be with your dogs. I am looking for some bonding time with dogs and to be outside with them. I have everything my pets need and I would make sure I am able to take care of your pets and make sure they have everything they need.
“Catie’s been fantastic! She is so kind, trustworthy, and good with our dog. Our dog has a lot of energy and needs a good walk while we’re working. Catie always brings her back well exercised and ready to nap the rest of the day!”

About: I've lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was 12 years old and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Got a big dog that likes to pull? I'm 6' tall, strong, gentle, and patient. People's cats tend to like me even when they're antisocial with strangers. I love to go on walks or hang out and play. I work part time in the evenings so I am typically most available during regular working hours (9-5) but can accommodate requests for evening visits with enough advance notice. I can't board animals at my apartment but I'm happy to visit yours! I have a car and can travel if you'd like me to take your dog for a walk in the woods for extra enrichment.
“Our dog can be very shy and nervous around new people, but with Melissa, she felt comfortable from the very beginning. It was incredible. It feels so good to have someone you can trust. Thank you, Meli.”

About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. My primary goal when caring for your pet is simple: I want them to feel happy, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for owners. I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. I treat every animal with gentleness, respect, and the kind of attention I would want for my own pets. I work remotely in IT for a nonprofit organization, which gives me a very flexible weekday schedule. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having some furry company during the week. Whether that means a midday walk to break up my workday or a fuzzy companion nearby while I’m at my desk. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

“Aiden was great with Ozzy! He communicated well, was on time, and a friendly person. Our dog had just had surgery, so we had guidance on keeping Ozzy away and safe from other dogs. We trusted Aiden to take good care of Ozzy, and he did. Would definitely use him again.”

About: Hi! I’m Maya! I’m a recent medical school graduate taking time off before residency, with two cats and too many plants. I’ve loved all animals for as long as I can remember and have 20+ years of experience (personal and professional) with cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, snakes…. I have been working with horses since childhood, including grooming for an international show jumper and on the A hunter circuit; compared to horses, even the biggest dogs seem reasonably sized! I feel very comfortable/capable taking care of and walking large dogs. During college, grad school, and medical school I frequently pet sat/walked numerous cats and dogs, including being a regular walker for a 70+ lb German Shepard and a high energy terrier puppy, and taking care of older cats and dogs with medical needs. Although I am not specifically trained in first aid for pets, my human medical experience and background with horses makes it so that I am comfortable managing the vast majority of pets’ medical needs or situations that may arise. I live in Westville but am happy to travel to you! My schedule is very flexible and can easily be arranged for dog walking and pet sitting, including at short notice. I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and a lot of free time - I’d love to fit your pet into it! Unfortunately I am not able to bring your pets into my home, as my own cats would object. I am able to come to your home to take care of your animals, or take them for walks or to a park of your choosing!
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Westville is $25
