I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

About: I have hands-on experience working on two different farms and Hamden CT’s brooksvale park (all throughout high school) , where I cared for a wide variety of animals, including everything from dogs&cats - cows & sheep . I’ve kept close contact with multiple repeat costumers I’ve built lasting friendships with house sitting/dog walking for. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, stay patient, and provide attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In addition to pet and house sitting for friends and family, I grew up with four pit bulls in the house and learned how to care for them as pups aswell as in their old age. I Have had smaller pets like hamsters and guinea pigs and currently have my own small dog with a big personality I love very much (side note I can take professional photos of your dog if you’d like) I recently graduated from art school(studying fashion design) and am currently looking for work related to my degree. In the meantime, dog/house sitting and walking fits into my open schedule I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. About: After years of for-friends & word of mouth dog & catsitting I'm making the jump to pro! I have a relatively open schedule & love to travel..my apartment in New Haven doesn't allow animals so this is how I get pet time in! I work for myself doing mostly gig stuff so am flexible when it comes to timing for potty breaks etc, & am not limited much geographically I've yet to meet a pet I didn't connect w & traveling the world I've learned a healthy respect for other's spaces while staying at their properties

About: Hi! I’m Maya! I’m a recent medical school graduate taking a year off before residency, with two cats and too many plants. I’ve loved all animals for as long as I can remember and have 15+ years of experience (personal and professional) with cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, snakes…. I have been working with horses since childhood, including grooming for an international show jumper and on the A hunter circuit; compared to horses, even the biggest dogs seem reasonably sized! I feel very comfortable/capable taking care of and walking large dogs. During college, grad school, and medical school I frequently pet sat/walked numerous cats and dogs, including being a regular walker for a 70+ lb German Shepard and a high energy terrier puppy and taking care of older cats with medical needs. Although I am not specifically trained in first aid for pets, my human medical experience and background with horses makes it so that I am comfortable managing the vast majority of pets’ medical needs or situations that may arise. I live near Fenway Park but am happy to travel to you! My schedule is very flexible and can easily be arranged for dog walking and pet sitting, including at short notice. I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and a lot of free time - I’d love to fit your pet into it! Unfortunately I am not able to bring your pets into my home, as my own cats would object. I am able to come to your home to take care of your animals, or take them for walks or to a park of your choosing!
