About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

About: One of my first pets ever was a black and white cat named Simba, who was referred to as my sibling. In recent years I have taken care of my family dog, Tank, a small dog who lives up to his name. I have also cared for friend’s pets when they are out of town for weeks at a time. Pets are part of the family and I understand how deep the love is! I have such a respect for all animals and look forward to caring for your little sweeties :) I am currently working on a hybrid schedule that allows me flexibility during the day. I can be available for quick visits, walks and longer stays. I live in a dog friendly apartment complex with many grassy areas. I also love going on walks at nearby trails or taking dogs to parks. About: All my life, I have had an affinity for animals. Growing up, I had rabbits, ducks, iguanas, and cats. I have walked and watched dogs both big and small, ranging from chihuahuas all the way to labradors. I treat every animal as if it were my own, with great love and affection, paying close attention to their needs and personalities. I am familiar with different training styles, but I know that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to dogs. I'm currently working freelance, so I have the freedom to set my own schedule. I can spend time with pups who prefer early morning walks, walk dogs who need a noontime break, or even house-sit for those furry friends who are most comfortable in their own homes. Caring for animals in their family's home means keeping up with routine and making sure that they are having a fun, relaxing time so as not to miss their owners too much. I pay close attention to client instructions and make sure to take the time to get acquainted with the furry friend in my care. I update clients with status updates and photos to let them know that their pet is safe while they are gone.
