About: A Northwest CT native, I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Our household believed in giving a home to rescue dogs and training them so they could feel safe and stable in our home. And as a passionate Social Worker, I'm ready to foster my empathy and compassion to provide your pet a supportive environment too, so they can be their best self for you, their owner! While I live in an apartment and cannot own a pet at the moment, I look forward to the opportunity to spend time again with animals and help out my community by being a committed dog walker/sitter. As you can see by my photos, dogs have joined me walking, hiking, backpacking, swimming, and even trail running! I'm a very active individual so if you have a high-energy dog who needs more activity, please let me know and we can work something out. I'm currently a full-time student in New Haven, so I have flexibility and can easily travel or stay in nearby areas. During the fall semester, I will be out of the house and in New Haven during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 8 hours at a time (9am-5pm). When it comes to caring for pets in your home, I would like to gain as much understanding about the routines your pets have in your home, your training, and learn more about their personality, so I can best support them while you're away.

About: While growing up on a farm, I learned to care for and train a variety of dog breeds; everything from high-energy corgis to slow moving bloodhounds! This includes care for all pet ages (puppy-senior). I particularly like to bring dogs to local dog parks, and run or walk with them. I am training for a marathon so I am ready to run with high-energy dogs as needed! Additionally, as a part-time student I have a flexible schedule to fit your needs. As a part-time student, I have a flexible schedule to take care of your pets. I am typically available all day from Thursday night - Tuesday mornings. I like to bring dogs to local dog parks, and run or walk with them to ensure they get the exercise and outdoor time they need. I am willing to take dogs on longer outdoor hikes or runs for the more high-energy breeds. In my home, they will have constant access to food and water and are always supervised. My phone will always be available for phone calls, texts or facetimes!
