About: I had a dog since I was in 2nd grade, for around 15 years. I have experience in young puppy care and senior dog care. Just getting into the Rover business, but eager of learn and would love to help! So I’m currently a 3rd Resident Physician at the hospital, so I do have more time on weekends to do sit ins and walks. I miss having a dog and taking care of one so this is my way to give back! I also can do late night sit ins or walks after my shift which usually ends at 630pm. I have an apartment with a doggy park and a pet cleaning and bathing area. The doggy park is fenced with toys and water. I’m great at following instructions and will take great caution and care in others home.

About: I have over 16 years of experience caring for animals and have lived with pets my whole life. I have experience sitting for cats and dogs. I have experience training puppies and caring for senior cats that require daily medication. I am an artist with a home studio. My schedule is flexible to fit pet care into my routine since I create my own schedule. My home is set up for cats with huge windows for bird watching and cozy beds. I also have sufficient space if needed to create separate spaces for cats.

About: After years of for-friends & word of mouth dog & catsitting I'm making the jump to pro! I have a relatively open schedule & love to travel..my apartment in New Haven doesn't allow animals so this is how I get pet time in! I work for myself doing mostly gig stuff so am flexible when it comes to timing for potty breaks etc, & am not limited much geographically I've yet to meet a pet I didn't connect w & traveling the world I've learned a healthy respect for other's spaces while staying at their properties

About: I can’t remember a time when a dog wasn’t in my life. I love pups and I can love yours too! Taking dogs on walks and taking care of them throughout the day, I will be able to create a bond and relationship with your pup to give them the stimulate they need throughout the day. I trained my now 7 year old mixed lab, who was not an easy puppy; but through much consistency in training she is a well behaved dog who can walk on leash very well and listen to 10+ commands. I grew up with German Shepherds as well, so plenty of experience with big dogs. In high school, I volunteered over 50 hours at our local animal shelter, finding myself walking dogs, cleaning their kennels, giving them food and doing the 24/7 care for them I’m a current student in university so in between classes throughout the days I am available to give your pooch a nice walk and breeze from the great outdoors. I go at the pace of the dog and always carry poop bags and water in need of rest. I will be sure to give plenty of snuggles and affection to your pup! I can also double leash when walking in case of emergencies if the client wishes.

About: I have been the primary person responsible for my family's dogs, cat, and fish since high school. This includes walks, grooming, vet visits, nutrition, basic puppy training, etc. I have experience with both large and small dogs, including seniors and puppies. I know how to change aquarium water and do maintenance as well. As a graduate student, my classes vary day to day, so pet care will also depend on specific hourly availability. I am located near science hill. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to offer in-house pet sitting at this moment as I am living in a shared house with a no pet policy.

Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter who has cared after both cats and dogs over the last 8 years. Through either personal favors for loved ones in my life or paid opportunities, I give all animals the time, energy and attention they thrive off of (which sometimes can be a less-is-more situation)! I will strive to make it a stress-free experience for both you and your little one! I do request that we have a Meet & Greet before finalizing bookings to ensure your I can get all relevant information and learn about the pet I'll be looking after. If I seem like a good fit we can get a booking finalized, I will be consistent with messages and updates for you, as well as enrichment and care for the furry friend! For the time being, my schedule is largely open after September 9th. Let me know what your ideal pet sitting situation looks like and I can likely accommodate. I am happy to follow the rules and routines you have set for your pets. I don't have any of my own and would prefer to keep animals at their place of residence for their comfort. If I know an animal and they are comfortable with me, I would reconsider for future sittings after an initial experience.

About: I have taken care of dogs from a young age, I started dog sitting at the age of 12 for family friends. Recently I got a dog myself that is a Havanese puddle, her name is Lily and I adore her and miss her so much since she is back home. I have always had dogs as a part of my life and want to continue this by helping people with their own dogs here. Pet care fits into my schedule either weekly or daily depending on what is being asked. On Mondays, I can help after 2 pm. As for Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am pretty busy. But on Wednesdays and Fridays I have a really flexible schedule. At home, I care for my dog by walking, feeding, grooming, and playing with her as much as possible. I think it is very important to make sure that dogs have long walks and have amplitudes of playing time, which I think I am able to do with my own dog.

About: I’ve taken care of family members dog and love to play with them and love on them dogs deserve so much love just like us humans I’m currently a stay at home mom of 4 and pregnant and just looking for extra work for the holidays and for fun on free time I have a backyard and two little ones who loves dog and will love to keep the little one company while around and can crate when I’m Not home

About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was 18. Now working in the medical side, I am able to make sure pets get their medications (including insulin) appropriately. I am mostly able to care for pets during the weekends or at nights. My work schedule at the veterinarian keeps me busy during the weekdays. I am unfortunately not able to offer pet care at my personal home. I am more than willing to travel to a clients house to care for their pets in their most comfortable environment.

About: I started dog walking in college, which naturally expanded to sitting. Other than the feeling of getting my degree, taking care of those sweet pets made my experience so pleasant. Community members have trusted me to not only make sure their pets are properly looked after, but that they make a new friend too. Befriending new animals is why I love this job! I have recently completed an MFA in Stage Management at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and, now have plenty of time to take pups on walks or do sittings. I'm generally free most afternoons and evenings, with occasional morning availability. I am very attentive to a pet's needs, and will make sure to give them the love they want (and know when to back off if they'd rather be alone). Unfortunately I am not currently offering boarding for furry friends. Before visits/sitting I'd prefer to meet beforehand, to get used to the space and aquainted with the pet's routine.
